  5. RARE Black Manual '06 350GT - very hard to find this exact colour, model and spec in Australia, and it's 100% STOCK and in excellent condition. $12,400 ONO This is a regrettable sale of my beloved 350GT. Selling as we have moved to a new place with only one garage spot and my partner doesn’t drive manual so we need to sell both our cars and buy something *sigh* more practical. My loss is your gain. You’ll love this car as much as I did. As the first Australian owner I was very lucky to pick this car up at auction in Japan in 2015 with my complete wishlist of everything you would want in a 350GT: Manual Transmission Black Paint (recently fully professionally cut & polished and looking STUNNING) Sunroof No Mods 100% stock mechanically meaning lower insurance premium or great starting point for a project car Rare 2006 model year with more powerful tune on the engine, tighter suspension, the more attractive special edition tail-lights, brushed aluminium interior and beautiful alloys. The '06 release was the best of the V35s and as well as all these nice upgrades they fixed a bunch of other issues with the earlier models. Leather Motorised Seats Motorised Info Screen Imported and complied through Carizma International in Abbotsford with low 90k kms on the clock, only done 25k in the 3.5 years since then. Always stored undercover and not driven hard. Serviced regularly with full synthetic oils. The car has a timing chain so no 100k km service was necessary. Recently serviced in January and garaged and not driven since. Just had it fully detailed inside and a full cut and polish on the paint and it's looking stunning! General Condition Mechanically great condition, no issues. Engine still pulls nicely and never skipped a beat. Paint in great condition with only the odd minor scratch and stone chips you would expect of a car this age. Interior very clean and in great condition with a couple of small scrapes on the passenger side dash that have been there since I imported it. Some scuffs to the very edges of the alloys which have been there since I imported it. Features you'll love: The LOOKS The 3.5l engine putting out the top spec of the V35s - over 200kw - plenty of grunt Bose stereo kicking out great sound Sunroof Motorised, Full Leather Seats The LOOKS! There are a few small things to mention, as there always will be for a car of its’ age: Passenger side window ‘auto up’ doesn't function properly - however ‘auto-down’ is fine and manual up is fine. Drivers side fully functional. Stereo is stock with FM converter. CD stacker was going great for years but became jammed last year. Had a wireless screen-casting device installed which allows you to play content off your phone on the stereo though so that’s been fine for me. Please no time-wasters or tire kickers. Only enquire if you intend to buy. Reply on here to enquire or directly through CarSales: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2006-nissan-skyline-350gt-v35-manual/SSE-AD-6066495/
  6. Hey guys I have just bought a 2003 350gt coupe with the central locking and drivers window not working. Does anyone know the part number for the drivers window motor as desperately need to order a replacement. Also any recommendations on what is a good replacement? Are there any aftermarket options that last? Cheers guys
  7. Hi guys, I've been trying to figure out what's happening with my 2002 250GT and so far this is what I've been able to find using the NDS2 software. Fuel pressure reads about 6.8 - 7.0 at idle to 10.3 at WOT. When I disable the fuel pump, let the pressure drop then enable it again, there's a whirring noise like a stuck bearing as the pressure builds up. I'm assuming this is the high pressure fuel pump, although it isn't really specified (there's only 1 'Fuel Pump'). Has anyone else experienced this before? And if it is my high pressure pump, any idea what the issue may be? Cheers
  8. For sale, OEM V35 Clear Side Indicators. Looking at $60. This is new and never used. I'm located in Perth Metro.
  9. For sale Brand New OEM Nissan front grill that has just been imported from Japan. Fits Nissan Skyline V35/Stagea? Part number 62070 AC500/700 $100
  10. Factory manual LSD removed from a 2003 V35 350GT 6 speed with 130,000km on it. This diff is in very good condition with no noises or vibrations - removed from a running vehicle, not a crashed or thrashed one. Diff is currently at my mechanic's workshop. We removed and replaced it with another one due to suspected diff bearing noise, however the noise persisted after the swap and turned out to be a wheel bearing instead. Cheap LSD upgrade for auto V35s, with a slightly shorter ratio for better acceleration. I believe it may fit the 350Z too (can't guarantee this). There are also conversion kits available to make these fit S/R chassis vehicles (have to change tailshaft, though) as a strength/LSD upgrade. Can organise postage at buyer's expense or local pickup available from Melbourne west or south east. $350

  12. Greetings, after a long absence, comes time to seek some advice from those more experienced than myself. Must say that I do peruse the site from time to time to keep informed. Anyway, my issue is this; For some time now, especially when travelling on a particularly smooth road surface, and more so at a slow speed, I have noticed a faint thump thump coming from the front part of the car On the rougher road surfaces it was not an issue. It is a great car, used on special occasions, had never done anything that I thought would flat spot a tyre. The car handled exceptionally well, and the issue never really bothered me. The front tyres on the car have done about 20k kms, are of Chinese origin, still have 2 or 3 mms left above the wear bars on them and have never given me doubt in their use. They are 225 40 18's, so a slightly lower profile than std. Looking at the tyres through the wheel arch, I have often thought how well they have served and never noticed any abnormality. I do the servicing of the car, am under it - on my back, every 5k kms and have never noticed anything wrong - this episode makes me wonder. About 20k kms ago, I replaced the lower control arm bushes with Superpro ones, all seems ok there still. Following that, the alignment data worksheet seems to indicate that the measured settings were close to those listed on the G35 Service Data sheet. So, that is the setting, now to the present. The car did the near 2k km return trip to the Bathurst 12hr last weekend. Wasn't the fastest on the road, but it did some spirited driving when conditions suited, like over Falls Creek. On the concrete section of the Hume, between Gundagai and Albury, the thump thump became more prominent. A slight tendency to veer to the left also developed. With the car home, thought it was now time for an investigation. Ha! still never doubted the tyres, took them off the car now up on blocks, and set them aside. Was overcast yesterday, a bit dark, getting late in the day, so I didn't bother getting too involved with looking for issues. Happened to move a tyre out of the way to do something else, that tyre being the worse of the two, and got a BIG shock. I have seen tyres in the past that wear off on edges, but just can't understand how the wear pattern on these tyres originated. The acute wear section is inclined to be more down the side a bit, and on the better tyre of the two, the wear is smooth as though it has been seared with a hot flat surface. Yet then, in some smaller sections the wear is not a smooth flat surface, but looks like it has been scolloped out with a tool like that to get icecream out. The other tyre - wow! I should hang that one up as a momento. There are known issues with these cars scrubbing out the inside of the fronts because of negative camber and there being no adjustment remedy. e.g. http://forums.redflagdeals.com/negative-camber-g35-559280/ That the car has 40's instead of 45's on it could also contribute. But accepting that, it seems to me that the tyres have been rubbing on something, yet there is no indication under the car that such has been happening. Rubbing on road surface?? I just can't get the angles to work
  13. Hi all, been a long time since I was here, so hope I post this all OK. I am looking for two parts for a V35 2003 1. Rear Drivers side (RHD) tail light 2. Rear bumper bar, preferably silver in colour
  14. Hi All, I recently purchased a 2002 Nissan Skyline V35 250GT, and have used this forum for almost every query I've had with it, so before I post my questions (and sorry in advance if they have already been covered), I would like to thank all contributors of the VQ Series forums for their insight thus far. I'm looking at changing the spark plugs in my V35 250GT, but can't find any part numbers for iridium plugs. I've searched on the NGK website and the only option it provided was LFR5BP-11 (Platinum). If anyone has changed theirs with iridium before on the 250GT, please let me know which ones and if possible, an approximate price and/or recommended retailer...? I also wish to upgrade the air intake with a Stillen system or JWT/Stillen. If anyone has done this on the V35 before, please let me know what products you installed and through whom you purchased them - all I'm finding at the moment is retailers from the US and limited compatibility information. And finally, if anybody has any insight into reprogramming/translating the nav system, please let me know. I am aware Chris Rogers has moved to the US but was curious if anyone has "taken over". I am situated in Adelaide, South Australia. Any guidance with the above is much appreciated, Thanks
  15. Hey guys so im at a loss. Im getting my car ready to sell and this morning everything has gone to shit. I own an 04 V35 and now i have no back dash light, no radio controls and my AC is stuck on 25 at full blast. I had one fuse out by the foot but that was only for my mirror controls. Ive googled and it might be the finisher curcuit but no one is mentioning the dash cluster out from that issue. Ive booked into the auto electrician but its a small town and he sounded pretty stumped when i explained the issue. Any suggestion? Really appreciate any help i could get right now.
  16. Hi all! I am a brand new member but long time lurker hailing from Victoria. I know that this topic has been raised a few times here and I am unsure about the posting etiquette, but each time I search I end up leaving confused and feeling uncertain… I would be really grateful for any opinions and inputs from you veterans! So, I am the proud owner of a V35 coupe (pearl white) and I am on the hunt for some decent wheels to fit flush… Budget preferably $1500-$2000 with tyres (am open to 2nd hand in good nick of course). Right now as you can see in the pictures I am running HRS556 18’’/8.5/45 offset all round + 5mm spacers rear fitted by the shop WHICH I want to get rid of realising they are not legal. I paid $1400 for wheels/tyres fitted with an alignment in a package deal when I knew nothing… SO basically I have screwed myself once by getting the wrong offset and can’t afford to do it again. – I am willing to admit I am still a noob by the way, this is my first car with doing anything to… A divorce present from me to me to keep me sane. ^_^ How tucked the wheels are, especially in the rear really bothers me. I have read that 9.5 fronts + 10.5 rears with 22 offset is perfect for flush right? - I will also re-sell the current wheels to subsidize my losses The main two wheels I am looking at are: 1. Silver or black centre/mirror lip ESR SR series, SR06 in 18’’ mostly (Pretty much well-made WORK reps) 9.5 fronts +30 and 10.5 rears + 22, will cost about 1550 for just the wheels without there being a Christmas sale or something/can get a couple hundred cheaper from USA. – Don’t want to spend heaps on rims and cheap out on tyres though… 2. Gloss black mirror lip Simmons FR1s 17/18’’ 17s are 17/8.5 Fronts and 17/9.5 Rears, custom offsets for $25 per wheel. Or 18/8.5 Front and 18/9.5 rear. On sale for about $1250 without tyres leaving room to get some mid-range rubber. – Located near me ad here: https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/rowville/wheels-tyres-rims/18-inch-simmons-fr1-wheels-18x8-5-x9-5-rims-alloy-x4-5x114-3/1195743347 Now I know what people think about Simmons being a Falcadore wheel, but they seem like a strong reputable wheel, due to being a simple style with a little dish & in black/mirror on a white car it would look clean/nice My argument for 17s is I actually like the look of more tyre, would I get a smoother ride too? (18 is still nice) if so what specs and would the offset change from 18s or is that based on width? Anyone recommend the offset for 9.5 rears if they don’t make 10.5? All that being said love looking at all of your 20s, but not for me. Clearly I am lost here and really don’t want to mess it up again. My car right now: - Guards are not rolled in the rear, don’t really want to either if possible and I have read most people with these kind of specs don’t anyway - I don’t want poke or to do anything that could get me defected, this is only meant to be a clean & nice looking daily cruiser (probably ceramic coating the paint soon) – just straight flush - Stock height Thanks guys! Ps. Are there any meets or shows in Vic? I would love to get out and into scene (if there is one) just to look & learn etc.

  18. Good day, My Nissan Skyline V35 250 GT stop operating at 100% a month ago. I was driving accelerating then when i hit 60km/h it started to shake showing an inconsistency in power and then finally just stopped revving and could only idle. I disconnected the airflow sensor and could only rev it it to 2500 rpm. My mechanic suspected the pump and then we changed it and tried to connect the air flow sensor back, then it wouldn't even idle but switch off. What could be the problem because my next port of call is the fuel pressure sensors as advised by the mechanic? Good day, My Nissan Skyline keeps shaking when i reach 2500 rpm and when i
  19. Hey guys, I recently bought a set of lenso 20" rims with 225/30/20 already on them. I was wondering if they would fit my v35 or if i need to go out and buy more tyres? Cheers

  21. Not my first time posting the results of my fun times down the strip, and certainly not going to be my last. Please see my video below documenting my adventures. After setting a PB of 14.2 @ 159kph back in October 2017, I decided to take my 2003 V35 back to the Perth Motorplex back in may before they closed up for the winter. The car should have been in great form- freshly serviced, a set of splitfire coilpacks (installed after the car threw a code) and some stainless steel test pipes (shedding 16kg of weight alone). I was gunning for a 14 flat, maybe even a high 13, but alas it was not meant to be. Despite a higher top speed (160+), I lost 2/100ths of a second and kept running 14.4's all night. It appears the car has picked up in the top end, but the 60ft times suffered. Where I was redlining 3rd previously, I still had an extra 500rpm up my sleeve. The only things to do now would be a tune, and maybe a 3:65 manual diff, so with bonus time coming up at work, that's what I'm planning for. But at least I know there is room for improvement! Mods as current: Apexi single 3" exhaust Stainless straight pipes Plenum spacer Injen short ram intake Grounding wire kit Splitfire coilpacks Tein coilovers Godspeed front/rear swaybars Factory Rays 19x8/19x8.5 forged rims with Achilles ATR Sport 2 tyres Please have a watch of the video and feel free to leave your thoughts below.
  22. We are proud to offer Skylines Australia the worlds best priced performance coil packs. With thousands of sets sold worldwide, these are proving to be very popular and have been on the market for around 8 years now with some very impressive results. Here is what one of our happy customers had to say about them: I've been running these Yellow Jackets now for 3 months in my R33 GTR. Still no problem with spark blowout as I previously did with the old coils, and still plenty of power! Done 2 HARD track days with no problems at all. Even added extra timing. Now at 28deg at 8000rpm WOT! Over 320+kw now! I have now bought a second set of Yellow Jackets for a mates R32 GTR which had a constantly changing misfire, even after gapping the plugs to 7mm and replacing them. He wanted to upgrade the turbo's for higher boost, so I said he would have to change the coilpacks. He was dubious that this would fix ALL his problems, so the turbo's were fitted. No improvement of the misfire after installing the turbos, running them in and resetting the ECU. So I fitted the coils, gapped the plugs to 1.1, and reset the ECU. He didn't believe me that this was going to work, but low and behold, smooth idle, acceleration, and cruise! He couldn't believe the difference in the 'seat of your pants' feel in acceleration (stock boost). Going to do a dyno run soon to see what the difference at stock boost is compared to original figures. Then a re-tune and add a boost controller. Bang for buck, these Yellow Jackets cant be beat! Unfortunately, out doing a "road test" in the R33 GTR, with the street tires, and now with bucket loads of extra torque, managed to break second gear. Same sort of use/abuse with the old coils packs couldn't produce the same 4 wheel power slides, just under heavy acceleration! Luckily I had a spare gearbox, so I could make it to the track days. BENEFITS: - Increase in torque. - No spark blowout at higher boost. - Improved throttle response and smoothness. - Increased Ignition Performance. - Improved Combustion. - Direct Fit. - 2 Year Warranty. - Solid Construction. - Cost effective. 23. Looking at grabbing a LSD from a 6 speed V35. Having trouble finding information confirming that it's a direct fit to the 3.5 RWD Stagea. Different forums mention things about splines not lining up and ratios being different... I am aware the LSD's from ARX etc will fit easy, but I have the opportunity to get a cheap V35 diff. Thanks!
  24. Hello guys, I picked up a nice little 2003 350GT-8 with a buggered CVT gearbox, I fitted a secondhand CVT gearbox but was unable to rectify the faults. After about 1 year of spending time trying to find the faults, I decided I would make the leap and convert the sedan to a 6MT from a 350Z. Please try and refrain from writing things like "WHY DIDNT YOU JUST BUY A MANUAL TO START WITH" etc etc. I don't care. The car cost me $1500 licensed and all, and 2k for the conversion. Still cheaper than buying a 350 6MT. This post will contain as many photos as possible as I progress through the build. This will be continually updated as I complete the stages. I have never been able to find out about mounting the handbrake lever, or the legalities on cutting the transmission tunnel out to fit the gearbox. I hope to provide some light on these matters for the next person to take on the conversion project. Removed CVT and threw it in the skip bin. Best feeling of my life. GOOD RIDDANCE. Removed the following; Carpet (needed a clean anyway) Front and rear seats Center console HVAC and anything in my way Witing harness Airbag module, Gyro & Traction control module. (NOTE ANYTHING WITH YELLOW PLUGS IS SRS AIRBAGS, MAKE SURE BATTERY UNPLUGGED ALSO DO NOT FLIP OVER THE SRS MODULE FROM UNDER THE CONSOLE, IF YOUR BATTERY IS CONNECTED OR IT HAS CHARGE IT WILL SET OFF YOUR AIRBAGS. IVE SEEN IT DONE. VERY DANGEROUS.) Brackets and really anything you see is going to slow you down. Mock fitted the console and handbrake assembly to see the alignment. Measured gearbox to the tunnel. Pictures of the handbrake assembly and how it DOES NOT match anything on the original tunnel, I guess you could make up a few brackets and cut some holes but that is dodgy and I want this thing to be as good as factory when I am done. I have a manual tunnel from a 350Z, I have decided to remove the inner skin that has the moulding for the manual trans and the handbrake that I require. Once done will be as simple as bolting it all onto the new inner skin as per factory. I was able to drill out the spot welds with a Spot weld cutter available for $20 its like a little hole saw. I have a qualified boilermaker / engineer on hand to weld the skin into the cars existing tunnel. There are A LOT of little spot welds not marked with arrows, the arrows are just pointing out a few of the ones I started to cut out. More photos and info to come! Thanks
