Guys, a very regretful decision to sell as I love this car in every way but I’ve hit a crossroad in life and decided I want to go work/live overseas or in another city – and unfortunately it makes no sense to keep two cars. This is my weekend car only and never driven in the rain, so at the moment it’s only getting driven once a month at most, so I need to be realistic about where I have my money tied up. I bought this car for 27k in Sept 2012 purely because it was so clean and satisfied my OCD. Previous owner imported the car in 2006. He was an older guy who was fastidious about the car. Only brand name parts were purchased and car was detailed every 12 months at Final Inspection. The price is at the upper end of the scale, I am aware, but I honestly don’t believe you could find a better condition V35 or one with this level of modification. As it's name suggests, this is a GT - a sporty cruiser. It is just a beautiful car to drive, so refined, and the interior is pure luxury. But make no mistake, 0-100 in sub 6 secs and can hold it with the best in twisties. There is nothing left to do on this car except maybe a TransGo shift kit, and at this price I am taking a heavy loss. Willing to sell minus wheels (subtract $3500). Can everyone with 350-370 models post their best lap times from Wakefield Park Raceway so that I can compare please.. Also input on what Semi-Slick road legal tyres & rims I should get if you have experience in this department Times with street tyres & what tyre sizes you were running? -OR- if, Times with semi-slick tyres & what tyre sizes you were running? And if any modifications were done from stock to achieve your time? Ie. My time... 2002 PV35 350GT. Street Tyres: 1:22:158 (215/55-R17 Bridgestone Potenza) Mod: Hi-Flow Exhaust System.

Who has serviced their Extroid Gear Box on their 350GT-8 model please? Workshop Specifies transmission flush to be carried out at 80,000kms & mines already on 89,000kms. Bought @ 71,500kms! I took it to Wakefield Park Raceway last Sunday & each time on the 5th/6th lap it would disengage the flappy paddles & it would jump gear by itself when I was driving slowly into the pit lane. It only stopped when I cooled it down on the back roads. I thought I had stuffed it completely by going hard in 2nd gear on the last corner one time. But it was mainly frying of the gear box I imagine. Every time I go hard on the streets now to overtake, you would get that same metal mechanism smell come from the Extroid box. Still works fine. But I wondered has anyone fixed the overheating issue on theirs? Does the transmission cooler go through the radiator for cooling? Or its a stand alone cooling unit? (That stupid tiny oil cooler at the right front of the bumper)... Also if you have serviced it. Was it is required to be in a closed, dust-free envioronment like Justin of Nagoya Motors (Caringbah, NSW) says it has to be in? Await your replies folks (if theres any out there with my troubles)...?
