  9. you get the grease with the poly bushes that stop the squeaking. i never had that problem steve

  14. yeah the place faces out wards. ill try to get a better photo (used my phone for that one). the belt is defently rubbing something cause on e side of the belt is showing its insides. i wonder if the bearings on the tensioners are gone? they looked ok when i took em out last. steve

  16. hey, i though id make another post for this problem. i changed the timing on my rb26 with a nissian oem belt. whats happening is the belt is rubbing hard again the large washer thing that sit on the crank between gear and the pulley. i opened her up again today and it looks like the belt is too wide. it takes up the whole gear as you can see in the pic. the pulleys them selves are in mint condition. i dont know what to do!! did nissian give me a wrong size belt? steve
  17. na its definetly the right way around. the tensioers also look mint. its weird, the belt is sitting dead on the pulleys, and can gears but is sitting on the edge of the crank gear. looks lke ill have to open her up again. steve
  18. this belt is an oem one. the noise is real loud, yo can hear it with the bonnet down. it looks like the belt is trying to come of the crank shaft. anyone else got any ideas? steve
  19. hey everyone, i was looking through the fast parts catologe and came across a diagram of the rear diff oil cooler for the gtr. does anyone have this cooler??? ive never seen it on any cars before. would it be worth the effort fo riggin one up? steve
  20. thanx for the replys but ive foun the problem. it ended up being the afm wiring. i jiggled it and it fixed the problem. im gonna have cut the bad bit out and rewire it. i also just sligtly loosened the timing belt but its still whining. i noticed that the belt is rubbing on the little cover on the crankshaft, its one that goes on before the main pulley goes on. i understand its to stop the belt from coming off, but this is actually rubbing the side of the bellt of so you can see the thread. how can it be fixed??? steve
  21. hey i got a r32 gtr, and i recently changed its timing belt and spark plugs. i just started it and it idles good but wont rev over 3000rpm, plus theres a loud whining noise coming from the timing belt cover. i tihnk i over tighene the belt, which is causing the whining. any ideas why it cuts out at 3000rpm? i gapped theplugs correctly, 1.1mm, i also cleaned the afms with metho, would that stuff em up? thanx steve
  22. ok just got home nd checked it out, it doesnt haave any markings on it, and it isnt a kaaz diff. there are some diiferances in the kaaz pic to this one. this one has 4 plates on each side plus 2 spring plates which makes it a total of 6 plates on each side. steve
