no they didnt give me any pics of the undercarrage, and they didnt say anything damage. I guess ill be taking it to a pro. i dont want to try something like this on my own. Id do anything, but bodywork. i dont trust my self enuff. anyways, thanks for all the info guys. i feel a lot better. crap thing now is the money i had set aside for getting the paint mint has to go to this repiar. oh well, importing is a risk well all take..... steve

thanx heaps ylwgtr2, reading that makes me feel a lot better. i had a closer look at it, and the damage wasnt done from a forklift. the damage goes across one side. it looks like it was beached (or what ever you call it) ill try to take some more pics. i dont think theyll be able flatten this one out, its squashed down too much. thanx again dude. steve

thanx for the info jay. the radiator and everything has been pulled out so fitting a gear puller isnt a problem. i was hoping there was a pin or something i could pull on the diff etc to unlock it. Does any one have any recoomendations on a suitable diff for an r32 gtr? Theres a perth guy selling a 2 way for $500. would be ok?? thanks heaps steve

hey, i got my car and i though all was good till i looked under it. one of the bars on the main frame is completly crushed, neither geoff or his supplier said anything about under body damage. is there anything i can do?? steve

hi guys, im changing my timing belt, and i need to remove the main pulley. ive pulled of all the belts and also undone the big bolt in the middle of the pulley, but the pulley wont budge. is there any other things holding it in? Also, my diff is locked and i wanna unlock it. does anyone have a tutorial with pics on removing it?? also, would it be possible to unlock it? thanx steve

damb it, one of the bars is rushed pretty badly and i thihk the welds are broken. is this fixable? ill get the pics soon. thanks steve

well i finally got my gtr, she started straight away and runs pretyt good, although i havnt revd it over 4000rpm. (not untill i service it etc) anyways, a few things, 1 of which makes me very worried. the under carrage has some damage which looks pretty serious, it looks like they lifted it with a fork lift. 1 of the bars on the frame is pretty badly crushed, and the other side doesnt look too good. Ill take pictures of it toomorw and post em up. question is, can it be fixed legally? will it cost me **** loads? i was all happy my car came, then i looked underneith and it killed the smile i think it was done while they steam cleaned it. also, the back diff is making a huge clunking noise, esepcally when i turn right. is the diff locked? i wanna unlock it if it is. also my boost gauge was stolen. i knew there was a risk in importing, so i dont need to hear that. steve

well i was supposed to get my car last week, but it got delayed, so i was supposed to get my car this week, they wernt sure when, maybe monday maybe wednesday. so i stayed home all week wating like a stupid d!ck, then canbera called and said i had a problem with the paper work, so i had to re fax a letter, which delayed it more, and the car had to steam cleaned but the cleaners finished today early (firday) and now its gonna sit in there lot till tuesday where itll probley get broken into or some shit. i also have to go to busselton this arvo, then drive back on tuesday to get the car, then drive back to busselton. its gonna be a shit holiday...... steve

well my car fianally arrived last week and i got f#cked around all week. now the car is sitting at the steam cleaning place, and i wont get it till tuesday cause the workers finished today at 12. also canberra f#cked me around cuase of some bullshit. im leaving for busselton this arvo, so ill have to do the 3 hour drive back next week to take the car home, then drive back to busselton. christams sux steve

would restricting oil to the head be a bad thing? is there any other way of keeping oil in the sump? maybe putting in an extra liter or 2? steve

map sensor? i didnt know these cars have map sensors? anyways, it isnt a good idea to run it of a map sensor. find where the stock boost gauge sesnor is and run it from there. steve

price? i was looking at a Apexi N1 cat back. DRIVER has one and it sounds hell sweet, so i reckon itll sounds even better on a rb26. steve
