well i got me a rb30e engine just that it is no where near ready to go in, and it wont for some time....

hmmm i know it is a big turbo i can get it for a really good price... and well i was wanting to what people on SAU had to say about it before i go ahead on buy it.... so any info or opinons welcome plz thanks chris

hi all, i am just curious to know whether the R32 GTR gearbox is the same as the R32 GTS4 gearbox? if they are not would the GTR gearbox bolt up to the RB20 engine and drive shaft and would it work in the GTS4 since it is 4WD when traction is lost... and does the R32 GTR gearbox bolt up to RB25 engines and drive shafts as well? thanks chris

ok ok... but is this the engine (rb30e) i would use to build a motor which others have used to get power figures of 400rwkw plus? using say for example a rb26 head.

hmmm i actually found that picture on a arabic nissan website.... i typed in search for rb30e on yahoo and it came up with that picture and the link.... anyways

thats what i thought, i thought it would be rb30de but apparently the rb30de is something completely different.... the picture below is a rb30de i believe

would i be correct in saying these are the engines that people rebuild the bottom end and put a rb20/25/26 head on and get crazy amounts of power out of?

hi all just curious to know whether this turbo would run out of puff when going down the 1/4? and if anyone with this turbo on their RB20 has taken it down the 1/4, if so, what times did you get? i wasnt sure if i should put this in the motorsport section either.... thanks chris

i think your right when i said i checked everything, i missed the power steering fluid....

when does boost come on with the 2530 turbos and when does it hit full boost? and also for the 2535 turbo.... also, what would you say would be the right supporting modifications? cause i got a full 3.5 exhaust, FMIC, GTR Injectors, 600hp Walhbro fuel pump, POD filter, and i will be installing the Z32 AFM just before i get my ecu re-mapped

is that even with a 2530/2535 turbo involved?

oh... i was always under the impression that i needed bigger injectors to get bigger power figures... hence why i thought if i put 550cc injectors in i would get a bigger power figure instead of the 440cc

hi all i have a RB20DET with stock turbo which i want to upgrade to something similar to a HKS2530 etc... i have a fuel pressure regulator, 600hp walhbro fuel pump, 440cc GTR injectors, 3.5 inch exhaust, and FMIC. i am going to get the new turbo and a Z32 AFM installed and get my ecu re-mapped. i was wondering would there be a major difference if i kept the 440cc injecotrs in or should i upgrade to 550cc injectors? what sort of difference in power (kw) would there be if any? just guessing obviously.... any info on which way i should go would be greatly appreciated. thanks chris

it usually comes on in the morning when its cold i park my car in an underground carpark so its not covered in over night moisture or wet in anyway...

gday lately when ive been starting my car the hicas light has been coming on can anyone tell me what this is?> ive got the slightest idea what this is for. ive checked everything and all fluid levels are not near minimum so i dont know what going on after the car has been on for a little while and the engine has warmed up a little the light turns off any info would be great thanks chris

ok then... if i got a standard R33 turbo hi-flowed etc could i get it turned into a ball bearing turbo? or will it remain standard bush bearing/roller bearing? and would the internal wheel be changed to a steel wheel or stay ceramic?
