  1. Not denying that but he's already up the price by more than 45% ($22 to $32), now that's inflation. Still value for money though. Should rather have got this instead of the Jaycar ebc
  2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=74355 That's the link to what he did. Cold Air box with the snorkle coming off, instead of coming from the air dam
  3. He's already upped the price of these. Now $40 with delivery.
  4. Actually not, the intake air is under the hood (if you're using a pod filter) so it's going to be warmer than the air hitting the cooler, but in all honesty there is no point putting a cooler on an NA car, just make a cold air box and put an feed into it coming from somewhere cool like the air dams in the front bar. My mate has done this and it's gained a KW or 2.
  5. Preferably in brisbane. Can get a good condition bonnet for $295 so if anyone has a cheaper one let me know.
  6. Will let you know if I can get it sent up. Thanks.
  7. Ive managed to source a bonnet but what price you looking for the reo? My dad works for MAN trucking and I could probably get it set up by them.
  8. You can get a set of the semi clears, they are clear with an orange centre bit. Around $100 from a jap parts shop
  9. I'm after the above parts. Bonnet can either be a GTR's or GTST. If reinforcing has slight damage not an issue as I need to cut it up for my Front bar to fit. Please PM me
  10. Are you willing to ship the bonnet, my expense obviously, to Brisbane.
  11. Hole saw. You need to make a whole 2.75 inch's in diameter just above the chassi rail. Fitted mine about 2 weeks ago. http://skylinesaustralia.com/forums/showth...?t=68819&page=2 4th post from the bottom are pics of mine fitted. O and you'll need a grinder to trim the blades.
  12. Got mine this arvo. No frigile sticker but is perfect condition. Thanks a heap. Much appreciated
  13. Yip there are some really weird and wonderful ones. One guy developed a system that worked witth the anti hi jack. If it wasn't disarmed after 2 min the doors would lock, power windows would wind up and lock then the car would cat and power off..... then drop a canister of tear gas into the car. It was never allowed because it could and more than likely would kill you from suffercation. There is one guy that has a spring loaded razor sharp bar mounted on each side of the car. If someone tries to hijack him it can be released and is powerful enough to chop a leg off. This isn't legal as such but the guy has never been successfully prosecuted for it. And then there is the yeee old flame thrower kit. Jets mounted at each door so if anyone tries to climb in you just press the button and roast hi jacker. There are loads more but mostly people have just taken to arming themselves cause a Hi Jacker feels f all for killing you to take your car. I've had a friend killed and a friends father killed over a hi jacking and they didn't end up taking the car.
  14. Not to stressed by it. I'll take it for a test drive but want to keep it off the road until all the kit is resprayed and the new front bar is ready. St5ll have an EBC to install
  15. Just wondering. If your mate got away with a speeding fine using the software and logs, can they not do the reverse and check your logs and see if yo have been speeding? O and that alarm tracker sounds like the shit. I'll be looking into it
  16. Thanks Yeah had to cut the blades. Still need to trim them a bit more but will do it on the weekend. I haven't driven the car since doing it as I need to get the front bar sprayed up and don't want to cut my original bar just for it to come off in a few weeks. Will just leave the car sitting at home until all is ready to go on.
  17. If it's using a a cell network then it's totally diff to what I'm talking about. One question with that is what happens when it goes out of sim range. When I'm at my GF house I don't get any reception how would this affect that type of tracker?
  18. There are guys in South Africa that are paid by tracker sompanies to test the systems by stealing the cars. Anyway if you know people who work in the companies that fit the systems they all know how to disarm them and where the beacons are installed. A guy had the first SL600 (old shape) in SOuth Africa. Fitted with tracker and 2 responders running individually and the car was still stolen within a week, never to be seen again. Apparently an inside job cause the responders where fitted in totally dif places to usual.
  19. When I put "coming from SA" i meant coming from South Africa. The guys I knew where doing testing of tracker systems and It's not BS. The airports do block some tracking signals. Not saying all but it does effect SOME.
