Yeah I'd be happy with $7000. Just seems the used car market has fallen flat... at least should be some cheap buys about -

What Have You Sold Your 300gt For
timmymacg replied to timmymacg's topic in VQ Series - V35, V36 & Infiniti
I've advertised for $7000. All in pretty good condition with stereo replaced and haven't even had one enquiry. The market must be pretty bad for v35 sedans at the moment! Although it looks as though the used car market as a whole is quite bad.......or maybe we just all think our cars are worth more than they are? -

Im looking to sell my 2001 300gt which has had the stereo replaced so no hassles with the bose. What is the going rate that people are actually getting for their cars? Cheers

I decided to not go ahead with the conversion. As much as I would prefer a manual I may look into a v36 sedan with the better engine and hopefully better auto. If the 5 or 7 speed auto is greatly improved over the 300gt then I could forgo a manual I a suppose. Anyone gone from the old v35 auto to the newer? And are they that much more responsive?
-
I would do that but need the 4 doors for the kid.
-
Indeed manual does = more fun. Shame there is f all manual sedans around.

Thanks for the replies. Its my first auto car. My previous was a renaultsport clio which was very entertaining. Im finding the 300gt a little boring by comparison. After the responses and talking to a couple people I think I might just leave it as is until I can get something better. Lesson learned. Dont buy autos

And with the fault codes, are they likely to cause problems? This isn't something I want to do if it is going to cause ALOT of headaches.
-
Thanks for the reply. What I meant with throttle response is that it is a little laggy as it is. I wasnt sure if this was due to it being auto as this is myfirst auto I have owned. If it were to retain this lag when converted it could be difficult to drive, especially from standstill.

Its at japco in adelaide. $2500 for parts and $850 for Labour. The clutch is still used that comes out of the wrecked 350gt.

I'm looking to get my v35 300gt converted to manaul pretty soon. I have been quoted $3350 drive in/out. Does this sound reasonable? Also will the car drive like a stock manual in regards to throttle response? Any thoughts or opinions appreciated.

Are these sway bars still for sale? And I assume they will fit onto the 300gt also? -
V36 Nav And Language Swap - Faq
timmymacg replied to Chris Rogers's topic in VQ Series - V35, V36 & Infiniti
should have been clear. I meant full control via usb. Also, when the 2010 models start arriving with digital radio, will that work as a normal digital radio would here?
