Hey guys, recently got my P's (auto license, as there was no availability of a manual car for me to get my manual license) and i'm looking for a used car.. I have a price range of $0 :lol: to 15k I've been looking at some 1990+ 318i and 320i BMW's... for around the the 7,5k-15k mark... Any info regarding these would be very helpful.. And i've been pretty keen on a s13... although i haven't seen many around NSW for sale that seem worth while... So basically the 318i, 320i and the s13 are my top ideas at the moment.. I would just like any info, ideas, comments about anything that i've said.. perhaps you've driven them and they are crap anything at all to get me in the right direction. Appreciate your time

I remember posting last year about getting my L's... Now, on towards bigger and better things, but, I have a few questions. I've payed for my test and filled out the green sheet but; Do I need to take some extra cash to pay for the license? Do I need to take all that birth certificate and extra identification up again? Is there anything in particular i should look out for that the testers tend to focus on etc? Any help is appreciated

Sorry i think i confused a few people, by driving lessons i meant i haven't had manual driving lessons because, overall the cost would be too much... I have had three or four (auto) normal driving lessons to learn techniques etc.. sorry for the confusion. I have had experience driving a manual and really enjoy it =) But, that was my aunty's car and making regular trips from the East to Glenhaven... <_< Of course i simply won't jump into a manual after 1 year of P's and start tooting around lol i will get some proper lessons etc

Hey there guys.. It's been a long long time since i last posted =P My last post was probably when i said i got my L's... now look a year on and going for my P's soon. Anyway i really wanted to learn on a manual so i could get my manual red P's...But... I don't have any close family friends who were willing to lend me their manual for a sustained period of time... and the lessons on a manual for such a period of time would cost far too much... But only recently did i find out that you could drive a manual regardless of whether or not you have a manual license after holding your red P's for a year. All of you already knew this but i didn't... So now i am excited that i will get to drive a manual within a year =D But overall i am curious how many of you did this? i.e waited a year before switching to manual. I'm going to feel like the biggest sissy driving around auto for a year
