  1. Your welcome to test drive with mine fitted if you like. However sounds like something you wouldnt know if it was fixed until a week later...
  2. Not good news at all... Any updates?
  3. What sort? Series 1/2 (86-88) or Series 3 (89-90)? I have a good S1 box in good nick. Also got a complete RB30E also great if someones keen.
  4. Yeah I guess it depends what your used to. When I got my HR31, the Stagea didn't even exist yet, so Auto headlights are 2nd nature to me.
  5. If it's night time, why do you insist that you have to go past 'Auto'?? I think it works perfectly, all my imports have had 'Auto' mode going right back to my HR31 Coupe and Passage GT.
  6. I love my auto Stag, its the perfect daily for me. Also its "wife drivable" for when i've had a few too many I'd never buy another auto otherwise tho...
  7. To eliminate other problems and confirm its a 4WD system issue, do the 2WD trick. It's on here somewhere, from memory unplug the atessa bleed connector, start car, pump brake pedal 5 times. 4WD light on the dash should constantly flash... There's no need to remove driveshafts etc. If the problem is still there, its not the 4WD system.
  8. Does it feel like the whole car is jerking slightly? Do you often hear the Attessa relay click in the engine bay? (located driver side strut tower). Because thats what mine was doing. Turns out it was the 4WD system playing up. The 'accumulator' was buggered, it is a high pressurised cannister that holds Attessa pressure up to the system. There's a few threads about it on SAU, common to GTR's and GTS-4s also. Just an idea... Cheers Paul.
  9. Solved the problem! Turns out it was a poor ground connection on the automatic control circuit... Fixed all the issues
  10. Still having no luck with this... I am wondering if there is a problem with the ECU, either faulty or possibly the wrong one (ie, ECU is from a R33 manual or something)... I'll have to check this after work. Anyone got any ideas? This is driving me nuts!
  11. Had a good look under the car today, everything looks good and intact as far and the wiring harness goes... It almost makes me think the car does not realise it is out of Park when it is in actual fact in Drive... Although the dash display of the transmission selector works.. I give up for now
  12. There are no errors with auto trans as far as the self-diagnostics procedure tells...
