just to wrap up the thread turns out im the only person lucky enough to all 6 coil packs die at one which caused the code 21 that coupled with the afm carking it was why it wouldnt start and the code 34 just disappeared so we are putting that down to its female and was just being temperamental cheers anyway

and dont know if smoke came from the loom i could just smell it slightly when tryd to turn the key so could have come from anywhere

thought someone might have an idea of what could have cause so i could go looking or if there was an auto elecy on here i could pay to look at it thats all im chasing

hi guys having dramas again today i attempted to hook up my greddy emanage blue it is brand new and i got the adapter loom for the ecu so i didnt have to splice into wires and what not just wanted plug and play, anyway after plunging all in and reconnecting battery tryd to turn over and it wouldnt fire, then i noticed a electrical burning smell so i quickly disconnected battery and went looking for the problem couldn't find it anywhere so disconnected the emanage and plugged the ecu back in now it wont fire with that ether, so did a error check and im getting error code21 (ignition signal) and error 34 (knock sensor). Checked the coils and they are getting 12v, gnd and signal with 0.4v with ignition on and fluctuates when turn key????? does anyone know what the hell i have done and how to fix all help will be much appreciated im happy to pay someone if theres anyone who can help or knows someone who can help me fix it im on the north side of brisbane cheers guys

yer mate pink label is s2 they are different cheers anyway

i could be wrong but im sure the pink labels are different myns only a s1 ill have a look into it cheers for the offer

lol conniption eg. had a fit and died i think i have pulled off the cover but cant see any burnt bits or broken solders and dont have a soldering iron handy ether so just chasing someones to check before i go and buy a new one

im having the same problem i think mate does she smell like your running rich and are you idle rpm a bit higher than normal and a small put every now and then when shes warmed up on idle?

s1 or s2?

Hi guys i am having a problem with the cluster in my r33 the tacho didn't work at all in my cluster so i brought a used one strapped it in and the speedo it out by 20k and the tacho is out by 1100 rpm all functions fine when driving apart from being out by that i also noticed when the key is on acc with motor off the speedo needle sits at 20k and the tacho sits at 1100rpm if i put the old cluster back in speedo goes back to normal and as i said the tacho doesnt work on it so not sure about that one any info or help on this would be much appreciated cheers

sorry should have added this before the loom on my car has been changed to a s2 loom and coils and as i said the car was running fine before so i know its not the wiring on that thats the cause ??

hay guys i have a problem and for the life of me cant find the cause car is a s1 r33 one morning i came out and started the car started fine as u usual was sitting there idling getting ready to go and it just stalled would turn over but not fire. Traced the cause of that back to the coil packs i have lost my 12v to the coilpacks, for the time being i have tapped into the 12v on the side of the engine bay and it starts perfect(will this hurt anything by the way?) but cant seem to find out why the 12v in the loom has gone. Is there a fuse for that specific 12v to the loom or could it be something else ?? any help would be much appreciated cheers guys.

hay guys i got a set of s2 r33 spitfire coil packs thought they were s1 but apparently not so if anyone wants to trade for set of s1 spitfires or make an offer message on here or 0408346915 cheers
