Ohh i forgot to add...t ostate the obvious they are HA coilovers.... above is a pic of the suspension tower with the pin out the top as u can see. Cheers for your help

Hi, was just wondering how the dampening system works on Tein HA's. Whilst on the car, do you turn the pin at the top clockwise or anticlockwise for a "softer" ride?? Is it supposed to click or just turn like a normal screw thread?? Need help urgently as my shocks are so bloody stiff atm.

Hi, I currently have a R32Gts-T. Has slight mods...TListed below. 3inch turbo back exhaust system (single dump) no mufflers, just cat as restriction Greddy VSPL Front mount Stock BOV K&N Flat filter CAI 12 PSI @ 3500 tapers to 10.5 after 3500 Bosch Fuel Pump (one below a 040) After market Heavy duty single plate clutch 255 on the back wheels, 235 on the front stock tuned computer Soon to go on Blitz DSBC to up the boost to around 14 on hi boost and 10 or so on low. Is there anything listed above which could be limiting anything in the system? i.e. reducing power, putting pressure on anything, etc etc. Anything you guys could recommend to change.... any help is appreciated. This may soound like a silly question, however, is there a way to cut and polish your paint work without getting buff marks? In fact what is the best way to cut and polish your paint? Any help is appreciated.... Cheers

Why should i be surprised... the S14 is basically stock besides a pod and a bit of boost? correct me if im wrong, but a 32 gts-t is about 1260Kg-1280kg....S14 is around the low 1200-1250 bit mark...right? weight isnt exactly an issue then.....moreso the torque factor....but surely the exhuast, cooler, etc. etc. should be make the RB20DET pull away from the SR on a freeway in 3rd (legal speeds of course ) Let me kno if u think otherwise... Boost controller should cause boost to come in earlier should it? plus i can wind boost to wat say 12-14 PSI if im up for it.....that should fix this problem of lag should it?? also fitting a heat shielded pod could possibly bring more power out?!

Also since ive just got this....is it a good idea to fit an oil catch can to stop oil and shit getting in the core?

So would it have gained power from this mod atm? or lost? or......shud be colder air going in...so more power.... but pressure drop etc.... what are your thoughts .

It was the full Greddy V-Spl kit....all the piping included...brand new! but yeah it actually feels like its lost power instead of gained it!....and power comes on much later to make things worse Anything anyone can recommend?

Hey, a fairly reputable workshop in adelaide fitted it. Graham West. Running rich-hmmm possibly dunno tho cant really tell until u get it all hooked up.. but i am wanting to get a remapp of the stock comp. Leaks.... what is the best way to tell? Before when cold the car used to do this whistling thing (veryslight) until it warmed up....now it does the same thing to the same extent...soo?? How hot/cold should the pipes be feeling on the cooler just above the engine etc?? Cheers

I have just got my intercooler fitted on my R32 Gts-T. Getting it back, i noticed in no way did it "feel" like it had anywhere near as much torque, and really feels like its struggling. Quite laggy, no response b4 3k rpm where it was hitting full boost @2800 previosuly. Previosuly the car was running 12psi with a side mount, with a 3inch turbo back system-no mufflers, just a cannon. Now im not quite sure wat it is running as far a pressure, but certainly has dropped, used to go somewhere almost to the 7 on the stock guage now a touch further back ....have an upgraded fuel pump, and k&n filter with a stock box. Will attaching my boostcontroller assist in removing this lack of power...? In addidition to this i was surprised when me and a mate (200SX relatively stock (pod, touch of boost)) on the freeway, both in third doing legal speeds of course , both gassed it and it couldnt even pull more than a car away...with the above sorts of mods in comparison to relatively stocker S14, i would expect a little more from the RB.... any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Sorry bout the delay...its a 93 type M Gts-T see but it is sometimes working sometimes not.....like the other day worked all day after i switched from valet mode to normal and visa versa....still rekn its the actuator??

Hi i have been having a problem lately with my alarm system... I have a Viper alarm system in a R32 Gts-T Ok, my car is unlocked, and i push the lock button on the remote, the siren chirps, and the doors lock. As soon as (no matter how much time inbetween) i go to unlock the car, the immoboliser (i can hear it) disarms u hear a slight click from inside....but the doors remain locked. It does this everytime i use my car so that i have to physically disarm it then unlock the car with the key (defeats the purpose of central locking/unlocking). Was just wondering wat any of you think is the problem... i.e. motors are going.... imoboliser is in a certain mode...etc.etc Any help would be greatly appreciated :confused:

Hi, I've just bought a Greddy V-Spl cooler (yet to fit it), and was just wondering a few things... 1. Is a pod filter needed (i.e. cannot use the stock airbox) for one of these on a 32 Gts-t? 2. Do u need to cut a hole in the arch (wheel) to accomodate the piping? 3. Is it a simple bolt on, or is a bit of stuffing around need to bolt these things up.? 4. Is a different Battery needed for this cooler (to make way for the piping)? 5. How do these things go as far as radiator flow? 6. How do these rate against the stock cooler? 7. What boost is anyone running with one of these on an RB20DET? Any help would be appreciated... Cheers David

Do R32 GTS-T's have an ABS system.... i have seen an "anti-skid" fuse in the main fuse box however have locked it up once in the wet and the tyres just kept locked... and pushing straight.. Any help will be greatly apreciated

yeah i think to get from kw to hp.... you need to times the kw by 1.34 and visa versa to get from hp to kw you will need to divide by 1.34 hope this helps -
Mate Im in the same position as you but are doing it at the moment..... I currently am 1. 17 2. I own a R32 GTS-T (170 RWKW) 3. Have my P's (obviously not in a state with the same laws) This car, no matter how nice it is both performance and driveability, these cars i wudnt recommend to someone on a wage similar to mine and urs..... i currently earn like 7g a year min.... and even i cannot afford this car i have.... almost all the time my parents need to bail me out with their money to get me going again. You will get plenty of failures, i.e. in 6 months i have had a fuel pump go, clutch master cylinder go, headlights go, alternator go etc. etc. all little things but alll ad up and need money right then and there you WILL NEVER HAVE IT. no matter how much u think u can do this YOU WONT BE ABLE TO DO IT WITHOUT YOUR PARENTS ASSISTANCE. Even me though, i drive this car VERY EASY! i.e. 2grand shifts most of the time... warming it down for long periods, i never really thrash the car because i like to treat it good, using the power only if i need it. I can't say the same for you, but unless you are extremely sensible, YOU WILL CRASH THIS CAR!!! no matter how good you think you are, it will happen. like i sed unless you are sensible. My advice, having been there and doing it, is to get a nice quality VS commodore or a similar commodore for the same amount of money. They are far more reliable cars, far more practical, and overall have a little bit of power to play with. In the end its your choice.... only you can make and dont let anyone tell you otherwise..... all of us are ONLY giving you our ADVICE. Good luck

hey mate... just had a similar problem with my 32 GTS-T/..... and it turned out it was the fuel pump.... completely shagged itself and needed a new one.... this may b this problem u are having but would pay to chek this as ur first problem
