I had the exact same problem but on a honda accord. Car sounded like it wanted to start but it just wouldnt. It ended up being a fuel pump. The fuel pump in the honda was under the car in the fuel tank, it was the worst job ever trying to replace it. Luckily the fuel pump in your skyline is in the boot near the battery I believe? If it is in the boot, its an easy job to take it out. I dont think a fuel pump is expensive, I think around the 100-200 mark. I reckon have a look at the fuel pump before you look at replacing ecus.

So my r33 gts4 is so dam high up at the moment it really needs to be lowered to a decent height. I have found these brand new coilovers off ebay for a reasonable price http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/321327720670 Anyone know anything about those coilovers? Would they be decent enough to put on my car? Or are they just some ebay trash that wont last long? If anyone knows any good coilovers to put on my car for a good price, please let me know, dont mind if there 2nd hand as long as there in good condition.

Hey im thinking of buying an 02 sensor, my car is a 1997 r33 non turbo rb25de, would I just buy the gts-t 02 sensor, or is the non turbo different? Im located in dandenong so I could bring the car down to moorabbin if thats where your located at. Do you guys install these? How much is an 02 sensor if I come and pick it up?

Price drop to $300 Tyres are roadworthy, with decent-ish tread left. Ill sell all 4 tyres for $150, works out to be $37.50 per tyre. $200 for all 4 rims alone, or $300 for the lot. Rims come with a special nut used to put them on/take them off, without this nut your rims cannot be stolen/harder to steal. Thought it was a fancy little feature worth talking about.

Thinking of getting a major service done on my n/a r33, anyone know who/where the best mechanic is to take it? Just want to take it to someone whos had experience with these cars before, unless you guys think taking it to a local mechanic will be fine?

$2,000 with 8 months rego, or $2,500 with roadworthy and 8 months rego. Up for sale is my 1995 honda accord vti manual transmission. The car has been looked after very well. It has never been in an accident before, always been filled up with 98 octane. Heater and air con work very very well. The car comes with 18 inch rims, double din head unit that flips open and closes in, and a sports exhaust system that gives a very nice note, I have also lowered the car to legal height, it costed me 800 to lower the car, the lowering was done at pedders. Unfortunately the only bad parts about the car is that the paint on the hood is a little faded, its not bad for a 19 year old car. Theres also about 2 dents on the car, very very small not really noticeable. The car comes with a sunroof, perfect for this summer weather. The sunroof works 100% fine, opens and closes no problems, it does not leak water in. clutch has been changed about a year ago with a heavy duty clutch. The clutch is very soft, gears engage really easily. Everything works on this car, theres no leaks or anything, it runs really well for a car this age. I would keep the car if could as its really reliable and very cheap on fuel, problem is I have bought a 1997 r33 gts-4 and I cannot afford rego and insurance for 2 cars, so this has to go. I need to install a double din head unit, speakers in the front and back, a sub and 2 amps, anyone know anyone/place that installs all that for a good price and does a good job? I asked jb hifi how much to install all that and they said $650, even i know thats a rip off.

Spotted what looked like a 1999 silver r34 gtr yesterday on gladstone road right where the car wash/speed camera is. Number plate was 99 gtr or something like that. Only saw the front of the car as we were on opposite sides, but it looked real nice.

When i filled it up it was on the 2nd last bar, i filled it up all the way with 100 octane which costed me $65, i think i got around 35 litres before it wouldnt go anymore, it was $1.65 per litre and i put $65 in, so whatever that adds up to is how much i filled it up before it wouldnt go anymore.

anyways, i filled my car up full tank with 100 octane, counted how much i got out of a full tank, i got 350 km with the needle being a few mm away from hitting the completely last bar, probably could of lasted until 375-400 but i didnt wanna risk running out of fuel lol. Im guessing my cars drinking alot more then it should? Any ideas on getting better fuel consumption? I was driving it soft changing gear around 3k rpm.

Yeah im just going to pay it cbf with the headaches of taking it to court. I did do U-turns but i did them where i was allowed to. There were signs that said no U-turns 10pm-6am i went further down and did them where i was allowed to. There were heaps of other r33 silver skylines, maybe he got me confused with someone else? When he asked me if i did a u-turn i said no, he went back to hes radio and got more info. Id be pissed if i lost points but i didnt so im happy lol.

Was driving home last night from oakleigh, driving on princess highway at around 11 30pm or so i see a shit load of imports racing, drags were on so i decided to just follow and watch. Anyways i stayed for about an hour or so just watching until i decided to go home, on my way home i get pulled over by a cop in a motorbike, this is the first time ive been pulled over. Cop asks me if i did a U-turn back on princess highway, i said no im pretty sure i didnt. Goes back to hes bike for a good 10 mins and fines me $180 bucks no demerit for a U-turn i didnt do =s I was beginning to think the whole skyline cop bait thing was just a rumour =[ atleast i didnt cop any points so im not fussed that much lol.

Everytime i drive towards endeavour hills from dandy north, i see this silver r34 sedan parked on the grass. If you head towards stud road from endeavour hills you will see it. It has been there for many weeks now, anyone have any info on this? Could it be stolen? Is someone trying to do an insurance job? Is it possibly a speed camera? If i drive down towards endeavour hills again ill take pics and get its rego etc.
