  1. ohhhh I am feeling your pain!!!! or maybe I am feeling the pain I was feeling when I was trying to get this one off ??? We smashed the oil pump to 50 pieces and just wedged the biggest chizel wedge we could find into it and about 2 hours of contstant bashing it finally came off. (then it got chucked in the river)

  4. Ok This is the answer i was looking for. I use a 4 litre polished aluminium can that sits infront of the drivers side wheel mounted on the bumber bar where you bolt it on the main support.. I am running a VS conformadore pump (17 from auto pro) with a cheapo stop check valve and garden sprayers.. hooked up to a hobs pressure switch that turns on at 6psi of boost. My intercooler is getting drenched with water and i was thinking that maybe the intercooler is heating the water and causing the engine to knock when it shouldnt. I was also thinking that only a slight mist would be better. Now i need to know where i can find some of those Nozzles you talk about. How much they are and where you got them from. If you used your rear wiper motor washer then you could set this up very easlily and cheaply.. just have fun lookin for nozles cos ive looked for mist ones in oz before... you can only get ones that spray tooo much water.
  5. Would spraying too much water onto your intercooler make it heat up the charge air? I have 2 sprayers on the cooler which sprays water controller by a 6psi hobs switch... Its a front mount cooler avo stage 2 Any ideas?

  7. forgot to mention that I got the car booked in for a Dyno tune at C&V on sat morning... Wonder how much power she is going to make.. I been told maybe 350rwhp or 330... either is fine for me

Fixed dudes Found the top intercooler pipe had somehow come lose... replaced one of the clamps and tightened it back up again and its pushing heaps of boost so i dropped it back to 10 psi cos i detected knock..... Also I installed my PFC that Nengun finally got to me and this car is now a total animal.. It was scary to drive so i put it away for tonight The best part is that i fixed the boost leak installed the PFC and got the car running awesome in just under 30 minutes. In the back of my car you can see a Apexi PFC & HC box and right next to it you can see a Microtech LT12 with R33 adapter. What does that tell you ??? Let me tell you the car is totally different. it is heaps more driveable and does not stall or carry on like a woman... Its just ... no shit at least 300% better. I dont know why ANYONE would go for the Microtech over the PFC as having to tune a Microtech with the wide band sensor was very hard.. it couldnt even hold the af ratios properly.. especially at idle. So the moral to the story is.... Apexi Kicks ass (IMHO)

  12. the wastegate is closed fully now and it still makes the same amount of boost. (used welding wire) the car makes nice power for 6psi... remember that the rb25 with exact same setup everywhere else could push over 17psi no problems... 500cc would not cause this.. i think i may have a boost leak
  13. Because i am using a T04 front housing we had to make a custom mount for the waste gate actuator to bolt onto the front housing bolts that hold the compressor housing onto the backing plate. I am not quite sure I understand what your sayin Joel but id like to give anything a try.. 12 psi on this thing would be animal

Turbo spec is RX7 Series 4 or 5 core and rear wheel (huge wheel) cropped and machined into a VG30 single turbo .71 rear housing and the front is a Garret T04 6.0 ar front housing and wheel. wouldnt the spring with shitloads of pressure do the same as tighten up the wastegate? if so we have tried that
  15. I wouldnt think so.. il have to check it out.. but even the map sensor is only reading 7psi on the microtech laptop software....
  16. oh forgot to mention the turbo is running a 5psi vg30 actuator..... maybe this is the problem??
  17. might have to cable tie the wastegate shut and see wot boost it makes.... So maybe the turbo wont make more then 7psi with my configuration?
  18. Cat is not the problem =) I do have a HKS supa dragger mufler at the rear with twin outlet. maybe its not flowing very well? zorst is 3" mandrell
  19. I just got the LT12 in the rb30det.. goes great on 6 7 psi.. but cannot get anymore... I have tried to open the bleed valve right up.. no more boost.. even tried a huge spring on the wastegate which made NO difference. The turbo is a RX7 hitachi / t4 60ar combo.. it was making 17 18psi with the rb25...
  20. Ive purchased about 5 or so PFC's from him in the last 12 months and got them within 2 weeks now they are taking over a month + Anyone else having any issues ?
