P.S. Morning Mangs. Cricket last night was awesome. -22 from my first bowling over , then +24 from my second :( . But got about a dozen stumpings, made some runs, and we won, so overall not too bad. What is the mod plate you got for? The car is factory turbo. What mod(s) was it? 33s always have shit low exhausts due to to running it under the diff. It's a tough one. The car obviously DOESN'T need a mod plate for the turbo because it is factory. But he has gotten a mod plate for SOMETHING so at a guess there was something that needed a mod plate so you won't get away with that one. On the ride height its got to be 100mm clearance everywhere, so the 90mm clearance to the exhaust will make it illegal. It can be super jacked up 4WD spec height but if the exhaust is still too low it's still illegal. You could get the exhaust tucked up higher and then get a statement from the suspension place saying that the ride height is legal and hasn't been altered and that would make the cop look like a bit of a tool for his 'guestimate', but I don't know if that would achieve much.. Paaarrrtttaayyyyy?

But 33s have the battery in the boot stock (is that just s2s?) so whatever the standard setup is should not be a problem. I seem to remember the std 33 set ups I've seen having a box though... but I could be wrong. Actually come to think of it the alfa has the battery in the boot standard with no box. So if its a std set up it should be OK. That's what she said.
