  4. Thanks guys Just got back from a short trip to queenstown for a bucks party Wish i had another week off to go travel and actually do some proper landscape shots. But none-the-less i partied it up in queenstown Beautiful little town i must say.. if you havnt been to NZ, deff check out queenstown. 8. bnr - WOW nicely done Got any more?? Sam - Where you been hiding? Love the first shot. Can i see a bigger version please. ta
  9. Same here. +1 No point spending $$$$$$$$ on camera gear, when you dont have an accurate monitor to PP your work.
  10. Dont worry sometimes all you need is just one light source!! Keep at it. Would like to see the colour version of this. I reckon with the flash you could make that green grass vibrant.
  11. I like those holden wallpaper esp the 1st one you made.. One of the shots could be straightned up more and perhaps added more light?? What do you think? Can you make me on of my car pretty please!! heheh Basti - i like the moody feel of the shot, but would have liked to see more of the background for this style of pp. Havnt seen you post pictures in ages.. where you been hiding?
  12. Still got lots of photos to go thru, so hopefully find a better shot in there somewhere. From a photographers point of view, its to make your subject stand out. Show others something different than a normal head-shot. Its all about being creative i guess. From a make-up artists point of view - well this is their creation, showing others that they can do something bold/striking, yet creative and effective for a photoshoot. My gfs friend is just starting to make her portfolio, so i guess its a good start for her.
  13. Took some photos of my gf yesterday. Her best friend is trying to get a portfolio done for her makeup, so we decided to have a bit of a fun shoot and try a few things out. I'm surprised my gf accepted the shoot. The following shot is just a test pic i took and a test photo for me to edit etc.. I do love this shot tho.. Maybe its the stupid, but funny expression by my gf. Makup: By Danni.I Model: my gf Location: my home studio Lighting: Two Alien Bee Strobes (used a large octa box, and a beauty dish). ----------------------------- Will most likely use these two shots for the final set. Still got hundreds to go thru.. Just opening up random pics and processing them. oh behind the scene shot: ^ sorry linked off facebook.
  14. yea i like the 1st one better.. 2nd one looks fake PP. Also there are a few spots which is still in colour and havnt been converted to black n white. Look at rear of the car, near the wing.. You can see a patch under it which you forgot to select
  15. Just submitted these three.

  19. bnr - man awesome shots there. Love the evo panning shot. Zennon - Very good work with the wedding pics. The couple will be very happy no doubt. So tell me how you felt after shooting your first wedding?
  20. What sort of filter does it have? Still got your 33 dude?
  21. Still yet to process. Got too many photos to process and not enough time Yea bit of a mess, but she wanted it there. These photos were mainly for her than actual model shoots so to say. Cool plane pics. Did you sit in any of them? My cousin is in the air-force, and he took us on a tour around his base. It was seriously an incredible experience. I sat in a fighter plane which was half on. Its seriously so small in there. I would hate to get a cramp lol.. Theres like a thousand different buttons around the seat as well. Oh and i touched a bomb too But the best bit was hearing the planes take off. Best noise i have ever heard.
