  1. True does not scream Europe..I'm leaning towards number 1 as well. Perhaps i might just print it on a small scale (a4 perhaps) and see how it looks. Instead of wasting big money on larger prints. Thanks for that slim. Much appreciated. Will check them out Which photos of yours did you print out? Just curious.. yea my sis likes number 3 as well.. ta
  2. EDIT: im going to make this into a pole Which photo should i print?? Either in canvas or gloss style (poster). Please note the poster will be framed properly too if i go down that path Oh and please do recommend me some places to get it printed. Why am i doing this?? Well i would like to remember my europe trip for rest of my life and what better way to print a nice photo. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi, I would like to print the photo below onto a large gloss sheet or canvas. Can anyone recommend me any places? Hopefully they are located in Sydney. If not an online shop perhaps?? Should i print onto canvas or gloss sheet?? I know with canvas the print will be a little rough (well i mean you can see lines - if that makes sense?) Also i wouldn't need to frame the canvas (save some money there).. But the gloss sheet would look better right?? esp when its all framed nicely!! What do you all think? ---- Im leaning more towards number 1.. hmmm 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

  4. sunset at largs ^ probably the best pic you have taken.. Love it
  5. I like the pic with the chick on the bike. It straight away grabs my attention. Good history brushing But really harsh sun light and shadows. Would like to see shots of that series however. Now the black cars such as the audi and honda are way to dark and lacking any detail. Esp the audi shot. I noticed your hi ISO for that shot so im assuming you didnt have a tripod? If thats the case perhaps go to a more lit area? Some really harsh reflections on some of the other shots like basti has mentioned. Perhaps take the pictures later on in the day or get a circular polarizer filter. Im in no way bagging out your work, but giving my honest opinion for improvements that i feel will help in time round. But you dont have to listen to me either
  6. Heres one from tonight for now.. Uploading and processing more as we speak. Got some star trails etc.. Wish i had a bigger zoom lens and a proper mount.. But all i have is a 40d with a sigma 17-70. Hopefully one day i can purchase my very own zoom lens or telescope etc..
  7. I like the 1st pic too.. Got a nice mood to it. Post up more photos
  8. Hey dude are you still on these forums?? Im about to make my own rig.. What suction cups are you using?? Im going to order some avenger super sections cups. Anyways any updated pics?
  9. Yea the proper canon ones can cost a lot. I bought mine from ebay (the cheapo ones) - But i havnt experienced any problems with it at all. I have left my shutter open for an hour or so once and the cable had no problems What you mean? I didnt have a proper setup that night. I was just experimenting quickly. Next time im going to get a bowl full of water and get a dripper from the top. Then mount my flash externally on the side.
  10. Another one from the night: I think i really need to get a proper macro lens and mount my flash externally... Slim can i borrow your 100mm marco lens pls
  11. hmm the only good shot for the night Attempting splash photography. I think i need to setup it up properly before taking photos lol.. I was in a rush and excited
  12. This diffuser create even exposures over the entire surface of the film. Easy to use an essential for well lighted photos. To produce a softer, natural effect and reducing harsh reflects on skin. Have you noticed harsh flash on peoples face when you photograph? Basically this will reduce it. Gives a much more natural look. I can post up some comparison photos if you like. One without diffuser and one with.
  13. Good shot overall, but i dont like the headlights shinning either Its distracting the photo i reckon.. But otherwise good shot
  14. Anyone interested?

  20. When you go away on holidays and esp a month in europe i doubt you will even want to touch a computer or any device once you get back home(hotel, hostel, room etc) to upload pictures and view them etc.. Perhaps for the first week but i guarantee you it wont happen after.. Just enjoy your holidays I reckon if its only a month then buy a few memory cards. There are plenty of internet cafes in europe too (as your backup incase you dont get your portable device). But anyways im just providing other suggestions as above.. Enjoy your trip Cant wait till i go back to europe again.
  21. I just got back from a 2 month trip from europe. However i was backpacking around (staying in hostels) and i deff had no time to upload photos on a daily basis. It might be different case for yourself as you will be traveling with family and you will actually get some time. I found the easiest thing to do is actually carry a fair few memory cards. Just fill it up and use the next one But otherwise i could suggest a portable hard-drive and any laptop. Probably the easiest option. Portable hard-drives are light and compact these days.. So im sure you can find a pocket size one easily.
  22. We all know what this structure is ahh ROME!!!! just purely incredible!! Taken on the way to the Vatican city: The ruins: Coliseum:
  23. Thankyou!! Few more pics: Next three are from Spain (a city called malaga - very beautiful place!!) At the beach: A view from the top of the fort: The bullfighting ring!! Thank god i could zoom in that far from the top
