Well in my own logic, as long as it is not illegal and causing harm to anybody, do what you want with your car but no one has the right to abuse others especially calling others a "f**cking twat" when they haven't even touch you physically and verbally is what you call "having issues" to which i suggest you should look in the mirror as who is butthurt. Haha, wow i guess i'd pulled a few strings mentioning about this. Is it me or is it getting hot in here?

I mean it's their car, they can do anything legally to it if they wanted too, its not like they put on your number plate pretending to be you etc How can a GTR badge hurt or offend anybody making people stupidly react as if they saw Obama make out with Putin in their homes. You see Holdens put on Chevvy badges yet you don't see anyone complaining here, well not as much as people here seeing a GTR badge then rolling and crying as if its the end of the world. It kind of makes me laugh to myself when i browse through past forums and seeing posts like "wow nice car man, oh i take it back when i saw the GTR badge" or "dude why put on a GTR badge thats stupid" Well not as stupid as they making a big deal out of a nice looking car and creating a fuss around a tiny symbol that has nothing to do with them. Makes me want to put a GTR badge on Corollas, Civics and of course Skylines just to piss off over reactive people lol.

Saw 2 GTRs drag racing in Lansvale on Hollywood Drive near the Liverpool golf club yesterday, one was a bayside blue R34 and the other one is a black R35, sounded mean as.

Well i normally often travel 360 km (Liverpool to Bathurst), with a full tank it can get me to and back before having only 1 bar of fuel left. Is it normal considering i may be driving like a grandma always under 3000 rpm? Well i will take it to a different mechanic soon to see afm, O2 sensor and boost leak etc.

#: please don't ever answer on my forums again or someone else's forum like that. People could get hurt from advises like that.

Don't know about others but when i start my r34 gtt i leave it to warm up until the needle temperature reached it's normal stance which is halfway as it takes at least 6 minutes but thats just me.

I'm going to do a full service soon as it going to hit the 97 000 km mark soon so i'm going to pray its going to feel smooth when i first got this car

@ Anfanee: Well i don't really know cause i just got this car last year and it came with it, but i cleaned it 1 month ago using K&N oil filter cleaning kit and it looks how it suppose to.

Is the place to measure the boost leak in front of the driver near the oil filter that is covered by a small black tip to put a gauge in? If so the mechanic also measure it with his gauge and it indicated no leaks at all.

I only want to keep up with traffic that doesn't make me rev hard up to 3000 rpm or more. Is that too much too ASK!?! kidding on the last part

I did took it to a mechanic 1 month ago and said the same thing, they said theres nothing wrong with it even using the computer it indicated theres nothing weird at all. I am only aware this car only has spiltfire coils, K&N air filter, turbo timer as i got this car only last year. Must be my driving i suppose.

Alright it does make sense but i keep having the impression that lower rpm means more economical.

Most efficient? So i would use up to nearly half my fuel tank just to go the city and back at Liverpool? I wonder if any tuning will give me better acceleration below the 2500 rpm range but be economical.

Sorry but what is "22's"?

When i use my tiptronic i often smell something burning so i don't use it plus i don't want to go over 3000 rpm as it seems too much for me. Fuel needle drops like a rock when i reach near it. Even then i stick to the speed limit and keep getting bad fuel economy.

Oh and i forgot to add, i rev to 2500 rpm and constantly stay there gets me to 40 - 50 km slowly and i mean very slowly like around 6 seconds and that every car overtook me like i'm driving like a grandma.

When i accelerate at the green lights after coming to a stop, people around me are always going faster then me and so i compared my rpm to their rpm when accelerating from the green light is they often always rev up to 3300 rpm as this is what it takes for my R34 to keep up with them side by side I usually rev up and cruise after the start of green lights constantly at 1500 - 2000 rpm because anymore then that my engine feels like its wearing itself out and burning unnecessary fuel as my engine always gives off this whooshing sound after 3000 rpm and roars loudly within the car's cabin. (oh and i usually smell fuel within the car after revving it up to 3000) Whats weird is that i tested beside cars such as old camrys, corollas, Mazda 3s and 8 etc and they are driven by mature aged people and they drive hard up to 3300 rpm usually. Yet even after revving it up to 3300 rpm cars behind me still stick close expecting me to go faster even when i'm on the left side of the road.

I'm planning on just installing their side skirts and buying a front lip from "Viva Garage" and i'd calculated the cost if i'm letting "Carmate" supply side skirts, fit and paint both their made side skirts and my ordered "Viva Garage" front lip to $1162. However the bad reputation i have looked up on many threads suggest i should stay well clear from Carmate to fit and paint my kit, is there any places in Sydney that supplies, fit and paint them?

Really appreaciated Raj, i just went down to the Suttons Chullora Nissan Parts dealer and paid $166.90 for their Shims which comes from Victoria and they will arrive next Tuesday

Anyone know where i can get brake shims for my R34 GTT Story goes My R34's front left brake is always squealing like a stabbed pig like when coming to a stop at traffic lights etc and i took it to the mechanic to machine the rotor and applied grease, it was good for 1 month then it squealed back to the same problem, this morning went to a different mechanic and they were about to grease it again but stopped and told me my brakes don't have shims on them so therefore they cannot do it and advice me to get it and come back, so i took it to my old mechanic and ask them if they can order me the specific shims but appeared to not know what shims are yet offered to machine the rotors again plus grease and maybe change the pads to cheaper ones as mine is Bendix CT but no guarantees that it will stop the squeal. So should i buy different brake pads or try to find my specific shims, if so where? Help is very appreciated
