I have never come across this before!! I'm gonna check out the manual to see exactly where they go. There were only two clips that were on the mag plug and the little tabs that can off with em. Guess they didn't like their home!!

Bough a second hand gearbox today and guy said it was fine. Anyway, cleaned the outside a bit and emptied transfer case fluid and gearbox oil out. On the gearbox magnetic drain plug there was a couple of metal clips about 4mm long with the smaller bits that had broken off the clips. Would anyone know what part they would of come from? I'm guessing part of the synchros? I'm going to pull apart box and check it out when I have some spare time. Here's roughly what they look like, don't have camera atm!

Spotted a Black 32GTR on Centenary drive this arvo. Gave em a wave and beeped horn. Sounded good. I was passenger in mates white v8 ute.

There goes the "long nose she's fine" idea!!! So I'm guessing you can't get the crank neatened up?

Hey guys. I'm after a stock gear set out of a 32 GTR g box. Not worried about bearings or synchros, as long as gears are good I'm interested. I need to rebuild my original g box as it blew up 3rd gear. Sydney area prefered to pick up, unless postage can be organised for heavy item. Cheers, Sean

GTR shafts are shorter than GTS-Ts due to transfercase on back of gearbox so they aren't that long.

Yep. Along those lines. The R33 and 34 GTRs run a preload on the transfercase clutch pack so it'll do some bad stuff to clutches. Pull drive shaft to front diff if you want 2WD.
