Yep , ya can't have one without losing the other. Not many set up track style cars I know worry about the tyre wear. They are only interested in Lateral G's ( ie grip ) Cheers Ken

Absolutely. The dedicated Solo 1 cars ( which is the enlargened American version of what MC is ) run a reasonable bit on the front to aid on turn in. Can be VERY dodgy at high speed cos it wants to tramline. Cheers Ken

If it's got the usual Jap rockhards in it , he won't be able to do much. Maybe change springs. Trick is to get some good King Springs and adjustable Bilsteins or Koni's new for about what everyone charges for 2 nd hand Teins or similar. Cheers Ken

Heaps of vthings ?? Like what apart from make sure the brakes , cooling system and tyre pressures are up to scratch. Am not interested in the fastest time cos A , I could prolly beat you B I could prolly beat you in your own car C I don't want you to have no excuses when everybody else beats you. Trick is to forget every body elses time and just work on decreasing YOUR laptime a liitle every time you try it. Cheers Ken

Err , why ? Power FC is fully adjustable. Only difference is that it uses Airflow voltage and tps to control whereas Autronic uses map and tps to control. Why can't you tune the Power FC ? Cheers Ken

Yea , I have to work on John about that. Will see if there is an arvo session as well. If not we might just have to run overtime . Hehehe If I am instructing ( and atm I am ) we will be starting early ( 8 am ) to maximise track time. Will have to post closer to the date a few details , ie pressures, loose crap etc. Cheers Ken

A bit of a hit. He was prolly lucky. I saw that hit the loose stuff at the back of the First Super special and every time he touched the throttle , it just erupted in wheelspin. It's not often you can say that there is too much horsepower. Actually it's probably the cart spring type back end causing 1/2 the trouble. Cheers Ken

Yea , unfortunately people don't want to learn there craft in low HP 2 wd cars. Trick is to learn to drive the wheels off a small buzzbox and then step up when you are at the absolute limit. Too many guys just go for the big hp monsters but never really come to grips with it cos they are too scared. Cheers Ken

Not eligible for state or Int'l rally. Btw , did you see that awesome silver HK Monaro at the rally. Side pipe , big noise , big hp , tyre shredding action. Loved it. Saw the old corolla of Nicholas Box roll right in front Friday night at the super special. Cheers Ken
