I did check it over the engine had been cleaned and the oil leak had been bodge fixed just before I collected it.

Well I'm new to Australia and new to skylines so had never seen air con before, or what it looks like and he actually said to me if you want me to pay for it you have to use MY mechanic.

The car has 3 years warranty, the dealer says if I do it my self it voids the warranty. So I have to use he's mechanic.

Also he said it had an alarm and immobiliser but I can lock the car with the fob, take the fob away and still start the car. So it dosent have an imobiliser. So I have to pay for this just so I am fully insured.

Hello, so I bought my 1993 nissan skyline r33 gts-t from a dealer 2 weeks ago and the man guaranteed the car was in perfect condition and there was no oil leaks bla bla. Got there and there was no oil on the floor on any where that I could see. He says it just had a road worthy, by he's friend. Who had fixed a rocker cover leak that as soon as I got home it started leaking. After driving the car on day 2 the other side started leaking and I got a quote for 380 to degrease the engine and change both gaskets as the previous man had just used silicon sealant. So I ring the dealer and said you need to pay for this and he said ok but he's expecting me to take it back to he's mechanic who I think is dodgey! Apparently he's mechanic can do the job for 100 dollars, how can he fix both leaks and put in two new gaskets for that price? He's obviously just gunna use sealant again isn't he? The car is now leaking oil in 3 different spots around the rocker cover both sides. Also the dealer told me the air con needed re gasing but the mechanic I went to recently said there is nothing left of the air con in the car! What can I do about this? Also the dealer left me with an empty tank when I collected the car wasn't happy lol Thanks for the help.

Hello people, I am looking for a good spray cleaner as I'm new to Australia and the products are all different. In England we always used showroom shine which is the best spray on wax cleaner in the world! As I can't buy this product in Australia I need to resort to a new product so if any one has any recomendations I would appreciate it lots. Thanks, Dan

I see a burgundy r33 near wynnum west last night and a black r33 in murrarie.

He's offering to buy all the parts needed to get it working again. Just need to find someone to fit at a reasonable price. Sucks

Hello, I purchased my skyline a week ago and the owner told me the aircon needed re-gasing, but looking at it today it looks to me like the air con has been removed. I can see two pipe holes on the wall of the engine bay at the passenger side of the car with nothing leading to them! Is this where the air con would usually lead to? I would put a photo up but it won't let me upload. Can show photos on face book if any one has it. Thanks for the help, Dan

Yes it is, but not a load of oil just a fist size puddle over night.

I would take a photo to show you roughly where it is leaking from but it is impossible for me to upload pictures on this site.

The oil filter was only fitted a few weeks ago, it's hard to tell I can't quite get under enough to see. This is my first car like this so not to familiar with these cars.

I see a red r32 gtr today. Not sure what the road is called but it's the long road from pinkenba to the city.

I tried but I can't see, it's coming from somewhere near the oil filter. I can't tighted that up any more by hand tho.

That looks sooo good! I have never done any thing like this.
