If i had the diagrams you were after i'd help. I'm sure i saw the R32 workshop manual for download somewhere once, that should have all you need. I have the consult plug, but no sockets, so can't help you there either i'm afraid. Impakt

The big screen has the same number of characters as the smaller one, it's just bigger. It therefore shows the same number of parameters to be displayed. The bigger LCD if you're interested would cost an extra $100, this would cover the screen and front panel. Everything else is the same. Different LCDs (like the ones the S-AFC uses) are an extra $120 on their own from memory, this is from the manufacturer (whose name escapes me atm). Impakt

AFAIK they don't work on the A31, they do work on the A32 though. Impakt

Hi guys, I can't really help here with the USB-serial port stuff as my laptop has a COM port. I have seen the software work with one tho, which i *think* was bought from Jaycar. Impakt

all 5 wires are needed to get everything to work. There is not one wire which it needs to get the ignition timing. I have *heard* that connecting up your own consult port works with the CA18 ecu (consult is supported, but Nissan never hooked it up). I haven't seen this with my own eyes so i dont know how true it is. Impakt

If you have the right software and know where in the ECU the maps are stored (as in hex address of the maps), then you can use it to do so... Impakt

Update: Just got a call from a VFD screen supplier. These are the same type of screen used in the Apexi S-AFC, and AVC-R etc. The replacement screen is $160 + 60 day wait. This is how much i get them for. If anyone is interested, or knows where to get them cheaper please PM me Impakt

Umm, the ECU doesnt support things like oil temp, and fuel pressure. You will need seperate gauges for these. Impakt

I dont think the R31 ECU supports the consult protocol, unless you had an ECU from an r32 or r33 installed. Impakt
