  1. Adam, Yep, no more worries about oil stain from trees, that gotta count for something! Dave is bit disappointed about me not dropping 26 into my sedan besides I've been trying to get him to buy it off me. I suddenly felt better when Jack told me someone has binned 911 GT3RS at Sandown, there is always someone worse off. Not sure if it makes me a bad person? I'll have a huge work into re-assuring my parents... Should be fun. As for replacment, have been looking at another Skyline but not sure which.
  2. Motorsport activites - no insurance cos everyone would stack their cars. Thanks Aaron. Yeah, I thought about making a claim but I can't be bothered being reamed by assessor and their cronies only to have to be told they won't cough up the $. It's simply not worth it, If I crashed on street, it's another story. It was before the hill of clockwise actually. Me too was disappointed when the R is no good, but what can we do about it, what's done is done. I was confident I'd ace this run but the car wasn't co-operating with me though... Hmm..... Thanks Harsh, It goes to show how well it is built. Couple of people reckon it could be fixed, but $10k to fix it, what for? About insurance, no point in discussing about it cos trackdays means you're not covered. And these Insurance Companies are bit like banks, they love to grab our money and have trouble giving them away.
  3. Speaking of rides, huge thanks to Russ, Mat, Snowman (white 34R?) and Adz (silver evo 4?) for taking me in a blast around the 'pan. This silver EVO - whoah, that is some ride!
  4. Chantalle, Thanks and I'm feeling lot better since I've sold the wreck and it's somewhere out of my sight. So I don't have to walk past it everyday. And am sourcing a replacment but won't rush into it now, got other things to worry about. Cheers Grant
  5. Thanks, yes I'm gutted about the R considering I've wasted so much money and have some parts to go into it, will have to sell them... Yes the organiser did a stellar job in looking after me and my brother. Thanks, yep it does seem like I'm not aloud to own a GTR... I know what you're on about with looking for the replacment (love it too but lately, carsales haven't co-operated with me). Yes I remember you and your friend were admiring it and I took your friend for a ride last DECA. Mat, thanks for the kind words, won't be doing 26 in 32 sedan cos I've already sold the wreck this morning and is trying to get a friend to buy the sedan. And I'm kinda 'banned' from DECA by my parents... And is talking to them now. Hamish, I'm unsure about these pics being posted on this thread but won't ask you to remove it. Niroj, yes that's decent stack.
  6. Thanks Lachlan, and thanks for volunteering for the day.
  7. Thanks mate.
  8. Thanks Jim.
  9. Steve, Will ask my brother for some pictures as he took some. Cheers Grant
  10. *strokes beard* hmm...
  11. Mick, Thanks and thought about transfering bits from the GTR into 32 sedan I've got sitting outside but decided to sell it. At the moment, looking to obtain 33 GTST for second time (had one before the GTR). Cheers Grant
  12. Many thanks for volunteers and organisers for a great day out despite my mishap. And whoever didn't get to do their 2nd run @ long wang, sorry about it. Cheers Grant
  13. Thanks mate. Thanks and we're recovering well. Yeah? And doing ITBs while you're at it? Thanks Anna. Wasn't newly acquired (bought it 12 months ago), yes we're fine which is good thing and my parents who are in UK at the monent, got message saying I'm banned from DECA in future... Parents!
  14. Why do you want the plenum? And thanks again for driving me to hospital, pity I don't get to feel what 280rwkw feels like, sorry for taking some of your time from skidpan runs. Clockwise - finish next to basketball court. Yes, it wasn't pretty but we got out with some bruises - which is a good result considering the outcome. Yes, SAU is wonderful club to be part in, helped me twice, gotta give something back...
  15. Thanks. Dermott has bit of cramp on his tummy, his eyes are good now. I felt cramp on my calf but I must have over stretching while I was on my nap last nite. No major pains to report. Thanks again. Thanks, I'm also glad we walked away from the wreck considering how bad it was. Yep happened after the beginning of long wang clockwise, rear end somewhow stepped out and played 'have you met the armco' game into me! Thanks, once again, cars are replaceable and lives aren't, that is important thing. Haha, 26 won't be in the sedan, I've just sold the wreck (my fastest sale ever) 20 mins ago. Thanks, I'm also glad both of us are ok. Take it easy. Cheers Grant
  16. Write off for sure but couple of guys reckon it's fixable... I won't be fixing it, and I've already recieved a deposit for the wreck. Yeah I think this GTR is a omen.
  17. Hi all, As some of you may know, my R33 GTR met the unfortunate end at DECA yesterday, I essentially drove into armco... I'm wiritng this thread to express my thanks to whoever helped me yesterday. Paul (paulr33), you're bloody legend! He went greater length to look after me and my brother who rode with me when I 'introduce' the R into armco, he kindly went out of his way to cart us to hospital for check up and dropping us home. Jack of Citywide Towing, many thanks for coming out on Saturday to tow my R from the crash site to my place, top bloke, willing to go out of his way to help us. Dave and Hamish, thanks for sticking around at hospital along with Paul when Dermott and I were inside being checked on (and sitting around when they're basically talking to each other). Thanks to Ryan and Bec, for organising tow truck and checking if we're alright (we walked away from the smash, it wasn't pretty but we're not trapped in the wreck which is a good thing). Also thanks to whoever came to see if we're ok, also sorry to remaining drivers who didn't get to drive on long wang 2nd run (that is when I crashed), I felt gutted when they had to suspend the run (I believe 10 of them didn't get to do 2nd timing run). Whoever else that may have help or offer their sympathies etc that I forgot (or can't remember) to mention, I say thanks to you all. Lastly, I'd like to say thanks to my brother, Dermott who came with me today and unfortunately happened to be my passeneger when I 'demonstrate' my driving skills, and being understanding. Cheers Grant
  18. Henry, Looks like we have to wait, I'm hanging to find out who won best 33 GTR as there was 5 of them including me... Cheers
  19. E Class, they're everywhere along with BMW's in Doncatser, didn't see you waving must be dark or I'm really tired (lack of sleep in last fortnight!) I was going back to work after going home on my break.
  20. I had one blasting past me other day. Wow indeed.
  21. What car were you in? What time? Didn't see you. And thanks.
  22. +1 Lighty tuned = 10sec 1/4...
  23. You ask your parents that question
  24. Correctomundo. I believe you haven't posted pics of your 32, POST THEM UP!!!
