This is something that has been bugging me for ages and I have finally had enough! I have a 32 with a (from what I can gather) a T04e 'AIReasearch' turbo 'upgrade' and all the supporting mods (gtr pump, fuel pressure regulator, 3in exhaust off the turb0, 3.5 off the cat, and 3in intercooler piping!???). My dilema is the car is incredibly laggy, I am talking full boost 5k. Now is this the turbo or the 3inch intercooler piping (I would have thought once the piping is filled with air it would make little difference). I know these turbos are old and well not the best so could this be the problem? The car pulls hard all the way to rev limiter producing and really kicks you in the pants from about 5k. If this is the problem, what is the best turbo that is reponsive down low and still pulls qute hard through the range. Thanks in advance.
