  1. I just gotta a call from eb games, they told me that i can pick up my copy of GT4 at 9:30 am tomorrow. I assume most other eb games will be the same. however maybe Grace bro. or k-mart might be open early?! anyways gonna need a good sleep before i pick it up, cause i think i'm gonna be running off coffee for the next few night :coffee:
  2. LOL, yeah, it's just a matter of getting used to it, but it's definatly heaps better in prologue than gt3.
  3. It's extremly uncomfortable as the bottom of the wheel has clamps for the table, and it's also quite hard to turn the wheel if its not fixed down. It definatly needs to be clamped to a table to make proper use of it. i once had some crapy wheel given to me as a present (for the ps2) it's got a ferrari sign on it, but i can tell you now that it's rubbish. I've played on the standard driving force wheel and thats not too bad. my personal opinion being if you dont get either the driving force or the pro wheel, it's probably better to just play with the control pad. Thats what i did with GT, 2 & 3.
  4. It also has the 900 degree rotation (2 & 1/2 turning wheel) as well as a stick shift. but the force feedback is definatly the highlight!!
  5. we are not all geekheads......... hehe this is my setup for GT4, just got the driving force pro wheel from eb games as well as a capture card for the pc i think i might go practice on prologue now.......
  6. try this if your bored http://www.gofastvideo.com/gallery/album/v...deos/index.html
  7. next you should get started on a body kit, man thats awsome...hehe your a classic
  8. lol it mentions under the product heading that it boosts vehicle power by .... 35%, WOW were do i sign............ haha what a load of bull
  9. well i drive an aus spec z32 anyways, so there wouldn't be any drama's but if all jap cars were banned then i'd pull out the sierra cossy i've got sittin in the shed.....
  10. I didn't wanna come across sounding like he was asking for it to be stolen, definitely wasn’t implying that, but the fact remains as lwells pointed out as well that in the real world it happens and therefore we factor that risk in by purchasing insurance. My Z32 costs me about $5 a year to insurer and i hate paying but i also sleep well at night because of it. We seem to forget that just cause we have purchased our vehicles at $20K-$30K price range, these vehicles originally cost $50k-$100K easily (depending on what you drive). These cars are all high power performance vehicles and therefore we have to pay for it. As for you not being able to find insurance, with out wanting to sound rude, you can get it insured, look around for brokers, or try just cars, torque, young & cool etc, plenty of insurers out there that will cover your vehicle, I’m sure of it. BTW i hope CEF11E finds his car, its such a low act when someone steals your pride and joy.
  11. ..... it sure doesn't, but for a few extra bob he could have got fire & theft cover. But seriously CEF 11E & this should apply to everyone else on the forum too, if your gonna drive a car that, part of the running cost is insurance. i know ill probably get flamed for this but oh well. Get insurance!Don’t drive a car you cant afforded to run. or don’t whinge if it gets nicked and your not covered. (Although i note the CEF 11E's original post didn’t sound like a whinge more of a request for a look out) thats my 2 cents
  12. Just so every one has an idea bout what really goes on, there are plenty of people out there driving these vehicles and crashing. I work as a personal injury assessor for a prominent insurance company, and see all sorts of high performance vehicles in a sorry state. Its amazing how only certain vehicles get the media coverage. and just to top it off with the government crack down on our beloved hobby, they go ahead and shut down Oran Park on us!!!!!!! Absolute disgrace by the NSW govt.
  13. Try http://www.autobookworld.com.au/, they r a sydney based company, very reputable. n if they dont have it they can usually get it oedered in.
  14. organisin a kartin day wid some friends n that sounds pretty good price wise. i went to buterfly farm just last week n that cost $50 for half hour, fun but expensive. definatly hooked n erady to go again. cheers
