Same thing happened to me about a month ago, it was a coil pack in my case too. I picked one up from the local wreckers for about $75, but have since found out that they can be bought off ebay for under $30....

My car used to do that in the heat of the summer, the water was actually boiling in the overflow reservoir, and sounded like a kettle boiling... Sorry, not sure of the cause though sorry.

In the first post he states that the paint is heat proof, but only time will tell if it's gonna bugger up or not I guess...

Hi guys, Ive just got a couple of quick questions regarding my '93 R32 gts-t. Firstly, lately my hicas dash light has been staying on for a minute or so when I first start the car when it's cold, I'm guessing/hoping it just needs some fluid, but I dont actually know where the reservoir is. Anyone help me on that one? Also, what sort of fluid is recommended? Secondly, I've got an aftermarket computer in it, is there any advantage to doing the whole 'dsiconnect the battery/press the brake pedal' thing, or is that just for standard computers? Please help me out if you can, it would be much appreciated. Thanks
