hi all, posted this in another thread but thought i would start a new thread heres my problem, I'm not making any difference from 14 psi and over,workshop thinks its cause of the wastegate (T04), it had 2 "bedsprings" hanging off with one attached to the turbo and one not, due to the seller of the car taking it off so i wasnt learning how to drive it with it pushing out close to 1.5bar we thought it was a restrictive cat but later found out that it was gutted anyway , so replaced that with a 3 inch one and still the problem remains. have turbosmart e-boost as well. any suggestions? . . . gone

mate dont want to freak you out but i bought a private 33 and the thought the smell was strong and just chalked it up to these sorts of cars smeling like that and later found out that the cat had been gutted, better to be safe and check it than sorry.

so are external wastegates illegal?

the engine oil is only 70-75 dollars which makes it only about 10 dollars more than Mobil1 so yeah not too much more
