  1. Hahaha thanks for not being a complete dick. But I try to increase my search ability I'm still a nub tho.
  2. When i bought the car it was running a stock BOV. I then spent $200 on a Turbosmart BOV and it was great for a little while.. But now I'm having a rough idle issue.. When I'm driving and drop gears and go into neutral (or put the clutch in) the revs drop and the car stalls.. Sometimes it'll go down to 100 revs and bounce back up to a thousand but lately it's been stalling more.. Does anyone with knowledge about RB20's know what a common cause of this could be? Everything is stock except brass button clutch, splitfire coil pack and front mount.. Would putting the stock Bov back on stop this problem? Sorry for asking the question but I can't find another thread that has a direct answer. Thanks in advance.
  3. I know this is a really controversial topic but being new to owning a turbo car that turbo flutter sounds cool and makes an impression to me and my friends. I've lots of mixed replies when I've asked people how to get a flutter. One friend told me ''Buy an aftermarket BOV and make sure its plumb back!'' But then another friend told me "You can't buy plumb back BOV's and to take it to a workshop and ask them to put a line on it back to the air filters/AFM." Can you guys help me out?! I know some people will say '' Have fun rebuilding your engine in a few years. '' But it's a personal choice and i would really appreciate the help!
  4. Greatly appreciate all the advice guys!
  5. So when i bought my R32 GTS-T the guy told me he was only running stock boost, i had alot of questions for him and it slipped my mind to ask him how much stock boost is on the car.. Would anyone know? I've tryd to google it but it only comes up with GTR's. And how much boost is safe to run on a stock RB20DET engine? Is there any chance of me being able to wind it up abit with minimal supporting mods? Not talking 18 or anything.. But maybe 8-10? Thanks for once again putting up with one of my stupid threads. I'm getting there i swear!
  6. I live in QLD and I'm on my Green P plates.. I'd honestly love to drop an RB25 in it but I'm not sure if I'm willing to take the risk.. Had the idea to shave the engine code off the RB20 and put it on the 25 seeing as the engine basically looks the same and cops wouldn't know what their talking about anyway haha. What do you guys reckon? Is that a big risk in your eyes?
  7. I earn around a grand a week so I'm willing to sink $700 into it a week. It has a 3 inch turbo back exhaust and a Nismo strut brace. So new brakes? Also looking at new coil overs. What handling mods can i do?
  8. So i just bought my first turbo car (R32 GTS-T M Spec) I chose one thats almost completely stock. I've done my research to have enough knowledge but i was wondering if any of you could help me with what i should do first? I was thinking a boost controller, turbo timer, something along those lines.. If anyone has the time to help me out with this i will be very grateful.. Yes i know this is a very noob thread you don't have to tell me. Thanks!
