  2. gday mate how are you ive been told that there isnt any in australia at the moment but a shipment isnt far away, have considered a diffarent tire, if not consider federal as an option around $200 each and been told thay realy work, theo woollett runs them on his GTR and pulls 1.5 60f/t times and he had round 600rwkw's heres his number if your interested 07 32173577. i spoke to him bout some tires and was very helpful.
  3. it sure is an 89, i think its just one of those things that rarely happen but this shit always with e, i guess im cursed. let us know how u go at wsid and goodluck hopw u dont leave your diff bitts from start to finish.
  4. i have checked most of these things, it use to bang with standard height springs in it now that i have lowered it it seems to have made it better, but then i added more power and that caused it to hit the floor harder. it did tramp a little bit but i was spinning to tyres hard when i raced it. all the bearings seam fine there not noisy and it doesnt viabrate under acceleration and de-acceleration. havnrt checked the cv's yet but i did notice the cv boot was broken could be that, the car has not been in any ac cident every thing is fully alligned. thanks heaps on your information very appreciated cheers dude

I need some help urgently, i recently raced my car at Calder park raceway, on the start line i brought my revs up and dumped the clutch, it made a couple of crunches but the car was still accelerating so i kept my foot into it, not knowing that i had just smashed the rear diff caseing in about 10 peices, just wondering if any other GTR owners have had a similar problem and if so how to fix it. We have had the car up on a hoist but we are still scratching our heads on why it has done this, no the car isnt to low its only 1-2 inches lower than standard. it has nismo shocks (non adjustable) AND whiteline springs, any help would be great. cheers
  7. its just a mild setup its running hks 2530's, hks cams, power fc, nismo afm's, standard internals, thats about realy it, awesome street car
  8. yeah sorry dude i felt like the biggest asshole but at least i wasnt the only one who oiled the track down, other people took the spotlight for me. i need to find out why the rear diff caseing hit the chassis, i thought it was just the bumb stops but i was wrong.

  10. i drove my car up to calder from geelong basically straight to the start line ran an 11.5 @ 120mph my rear diff caseing smashed in to the chassis and shattered it in to bout 10 pieces oiled the track down and took them bout 45 mins to re prep the track, sorry guys. i had to leave my car up there the night too.
  11. Take it ICE i rang around for months before my good gear went into my car looking for a tune, nigel and gerald were most helpful and were straight up with me about what to expect power and cost wise. there also perfectionists is the job isnt right they just keep ticking away until its 100%.

  13. My self and my mate are taking our cars up to calder park for a squirt on the 20th of may, is any body else taking there cars up there it would be good to see a few more skylines there.
  14. how are you mate ive got 660cc injectors in my gtr and they were a straight except for the fuel rail (standard) it needed to be machined out a fraction to fit the larger injectors. ice performance carried out the modifying for me.
  15. I am currently in the market for a CDI for my 32GTR. Its got HKS 2530's, HKS cams, nismo afm's, apexi pfc, 660cc injectors, custom fuel pump etc. It has 330rwkw on 1.3-1.4 bar. Ive been told that unless your making 400rwkw on an RB26 its pointless in getting one, i need to know is this true and what CDI would suit my application. i am currently looking at the HKS twin spark and the AEM CDI, ive heard exellent things bout both of these products. both are similar in price so it doesn't matter in getting the cheaper one. Any help would be exellent. cheers
