In a word BOND... yeah no worries, these guys sent me a weld in kit for my targa car and they do a bolt in also. Instead of having a complete disc for a friction plate, they have a number of "paddles" this increases the clamping pressure relative to the decrease in surface area..... depending on material the amount of "bite" Some like 'em, some don't... If you look on justjap site they have pic. If you are just learning a manual.... you wont know any difference. Ciao

You got it to. :uh-huh: Mine was a Panasonic and now resides in the dumpmaster. I just cut the speaker wires out of the plug and bypassed it all. I'm tipping they use it to save running starter cable to the back speakers. My R32 is a tarmac rally car so the sound system is purely a very secondary option Thanks guys

Well, have received your bar!!! There is considerable difference between gel coat black and "sprayed" black!!!! And your mates at Fairfield ripped you off if you paid $600 for that... Is one of the more ordinary bits of glass work I have seen. They either have a twist in their mould or they sat it somewhere with a twist in it after they popped it. That is probably why the middle is very narrow. The Bomex Bar I have just removed slides straight on no worries... Good Job it is for a race car.... be very careful next time you part with $600.... Had an iridium plug lose itself on the weekend.... no Zero compession on #6. I seems the exhaust valves are open (burnt or plug bits). Are Rb20DET heads bucket and shims or hydraulic?? Whats a good price to pay for a head gasket?? and can you buy valves in OZ? What is normal valve clearance for In & Ex.? Any help with these questions appreciated. Bit of a play on differential/difference Helical LSD vs Viscous LSD I Have a HCR32, and the unloaded tyre lights up exiting turns. I assume it has a worn viscous diff. Are helical diffs interchangable between models in the Nissan brand. What is a known swap? Do we get a choice of ratio's I am building a race car, and when I say lighting up I mean when doing 9's round Symmons Plains. Circuit cars use a BOC locker, but as a tarmac rally car this would be extreme... Any ideas from those who know they know what they are on about.... Thanks heaps and Ciao

Hey JiMiH, Did I help by those wheels? Going to give your poor old federals a few laps of Symmons plains Sunday.... Car looks good... and as for your thread, take the KISS principal. And check the easy things first! Hey it may well be a turbo seal, but plugs, AFM, etc you probably need to be doing as maintenance anyhowe... and think of the points from the girl. When racing Superbikes we pulled everything apart one day chasing a missfire. A plug faulty, even though new! Never assume and start at the beginning. Regards
