Thanks femno.....although I've already hammered myself enough..... I suppose I am still living in hope that it will arrive, or that she hasn't managed to get on the internet due to work commitments etc. She did have another thing for sale an AVCR, which apparently was pick-up or delivery - has anyone bought that or met her? Can anyone offer advice please? All I have are her CBA bank details and that she lives in Rockhampton and drives a maroon R33? Desperate.... Peter

Hi All! Can anyone help please? Does anyone know JessR33 from Rockhamptom Queensland? I spoke to her last Wednesday (22/04/2009) via PM regarding the PFC and HC. A price was agreed upon and I transferred her the money the same day. She acknowledged that the money was in her bank on Friday and that she would post it Saturday (which couldn't happen cause it was Anzac Day). So I waited over the long weekend and no contact, no delivery etc. I sent her a PM yesterday morning - still no response.... I'm now getting quite worried, as I'm over in WA and she is in Queensland..... I apologise to Jess if this is an over reaction, but I transferred what I term as a fair bit of money, and I'm now thinking if I've been screwed! Anyone located in Rockhampton who can help? Thanks especially to Ricca for all the sms's, but no action on my part I should be getting my car back this week, so I'll look into the suggested ideas / leads then. BTW, just a thought - I went to where my car is being repaired and squished in the factory pipe and noticed it was quite firm - would this pipe only "suck in" if the filter was not flowing adequately? I am thinking of a vacuum cleaner here - pipe doesn't "suck in" unless you jam something over the end - so if the filter is flowing enough then it shouldn't "vacuum in" so to speak?? Anyways, I will still be going for a metal pipe, but it was just a thought! Pete

Hi Everyone, Not sure if this has been covered before, but it has been on my mind recently, so I thought that I would draw from the wisdom of SAU.... From what I understand, when comparing the RB25DET (R33) and NEO (R34), the NEO engine makes 206kw (stock), compared to RB25’s184kw (stock) - why / how does the R34 make more power? From what I understand the R34 has a bigger SMIC, different turbo, different engine management - not sure about injectors etc. But if you were to get an RB25DET and a NEO side-by-side and say stick the following on both engines: Apexi PFC Pod Filter FMIC Turbo Fuel Pump Bigger fuel injectors and then tune them the same, would they then both then make around the same power - (bringing the RB25DET upto the NEO level) or are their more internal mechanical differences that I am not aware of? Hi Everyone, I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea, where I can buy or get a stainless steel intake pipe (between AFM and turbo) made up to replace the factory rubber one? I have seen the Apexi ones on Nengun (very expensive), and I am not really interested in the silicon ones available from JustJap. I am after one that just "bolts up", with the appropriate silicon joiners, and has all the attachments to plug in all the hoses etc that go into it. I occasionally see them for sale on SAU, but these things go very quick, and I have always missed out.... Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks, Peter

Is that behind the CAT? - if so I don't think you can mount it there....it has to be mounted prior to the CAT to obtain correct A/F ratios. Also, it needs to be mounted between 10 and 2 - if it is mounted any lower, then condensation in the exhaust pipe (when car is left over night etc.) will damage the sensor when it pre-warms prior to engine start.
