Hey guys, I have found a very cheap 32 with a rb20de auto and will be doing an engine transplant. Now 2 options here rb20det or rb25det w/ 5 spd of course. Basically I want it to be daily driver/drift car/general cruising. would I be better going with stock rb25det or rb20det with mods???

Hey guys Will be purchasing an rb25det half cut in the next months so just need a few options... 1) what to look for in a halfcut? I've never bought a halfcut before, DO they start them up for you to listen and check the gearbox (ie goes into gear, no rattles, noises etc???) What are some good/bad things to look for?? modyfied or stock, and what about k's, will they be genuine?? 2) warranty issues, Ok, so i have the engine at home, put it in the car, and shes a dud, either piston ****ed or some major catastrophe.. whats the deal with warranty?? 3) places to go to? anyone in brisbane recoomend a place to buy a half cut from? Only places i know is alljap...

Hey guys, Picked up a 32 4 door rb20de auto for a awesome price and i'm going to put an rb25det 5 spd into it. I know the motor will bolt up to original rb20 mounts and so will the gearbox. Hardest thing for me atm is the wiring!! What is the wiring like? Is it better to get a half cut (r33) and transplant the cluster and all associated wiring over?? Anyone willing to do it for a small fee? (or copius amounts of beer )

Hey all - have for sale a T3 turbo off a VG30DET (the single turbo model not DETT) This is the pick of the T3 range!! Not sure on exact specs (sorry didn't have time to check it this morning) but I am sure someone here will know. Excellent upgrade for RB20 and 25's, VL's or anything with a T3 flange. These turbo's are sturdy units and people have run 16-17psi all day no problems thanks to the STEEL WHEEL. This turbo is in PERFECT condition (I would even say as new) and was purchased to be used on a turbo commodore project.. rb20det (silver top eccs) w/ loom missing: turbo ecu power steering pump air con compressor afm (I have a brand new one here) details: 90 xxxk's timing chain replaced 10 xxx ago Engine was bought from a half cut (r32 gts-t) with 40 xxx k's and has been used in a r31 skyline. Car was used for a general daily driver but included a some spirited driving... Always serviced every 5000k's... $800 w/ afm $750 w/o afm I can be contacted on [email protected] or pm me on here...

Guys... Just getting into the rb20 conversion... Now for the compatability bit.. Car: VK Commodore Engine: Rb20det (eccs silvertop) Gearbox (manual): Flywheel? same from rb30 5spd to rb20/25 5 speed? Bellhousing? Again any difference between rb20/25/30? Can I use an rb20 flywheel, clutch with rb30 box and bellhousing? 5 speed engine plate? Any difference between rb20/25/30? Starter Motor: Any differnece between auto an manual starter motor? Can you use a rb30 starter motor on a rb20/25 5 spd? Can you use a rb20 starter motor on a rb30 box? Power Steering Pump: Can you use an rb30 item on an rb20? Will the lines bolt up to a vl steering rack? I think thats all so far.. Will add more when I think of them...

Where abouts on the site can you download them from? Also, heroboy your r32 manual is only 125kb and I can't seem to d/l it...
