The police went light on him 45kph over is 9 months suspension of licence plus a $1559 fine 71kph over should be loss of licence for 18 months - 2 years with $2005 fine(the largest standard speed ticket) double demerits should have seen him loose his licence car and a wad of cash he must have hit on the copper but you shouldnt blame the inexperianced driver blame the car like its got a mind of its own(sarcasm) what a tool

  8. your computer has been refurbished ie. warranty repair or it has been chipped by nismo japan pty ltd all skylines when you start them take about 20 to 40 seconds to get pumps etc flowing at their optimum levels it will also sound louder as your radiator fan/s spins faster aswell. with Gtr's it might take longer but im sure other people will post here to give thier thoughts. When you say until it warms up, how long would you say that time frame is?

  11. im with gtst89 we need more parts but we dont need the attention that comes from an inexperianced driver doing stupid speeds in a 50kph zone splitting thier line in half. perhaps what you need is some crash theropy look on the net at www.wreckedexotics.com and picture yourself in one of those cars and think about what you would be thinking when you crash it.
  12. sorry forgot to add that your computer is in your passanger side kickpanel
  13. I cant understand why when people have a problem that they dont do the easiest check first try the diagnostic if it tells you what your problem is great but even if it doesnt, it knocks out all the posibilities like sensor faults andif it is your auto gear box this should tell you http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...d.php?p=1136571 try this first before spending money for someone else to do it
  14. there is either a seethrough or metalic silver sticker on a side of your computer. peel the sticker off which will expose either 1 or 2 lights and a small encased dial which can be manipulated with a philips head screwdriver. With the ignition ON take a small screwdriver and turn it clockwise. the LED's will flash together, first once, then pause, then twice, then pause, then three times. When this happens turn the screwdriver counter clockwise. The ECU is now in mode 3 which reads out the fault codes on the LED's. It will cycle through all stored fault codes. with your led display you may have 1 light or 2 either one it is still easy to read. then follow the above instructions if you do have 1 led there is a definate pause between a 10 unit readout and the 1 unit readout hope i helped
  15. hehe i were 2 minutes too late

  17. in the automatic switch box there is a regulated cutout as the voltage drops telling it to stop if you need to be able to feel 2 clicks pushing it down and up 1st click is for manual 2nd click is for auto wind. if the switch box does not have the clicks when pushing down and up or if you are able to push the switch down with no resistance then its the switch if you pull out the switch box and take of the buttons and plastic cover you will see there are very small little plastic notches that are the switches make sure they are lined up with the switch itself
  18. have somebody rev it while your under the bonnet or spray soapy water around fmic piping and hoses if it bubbles then its leaking. you can only give it ago
  19. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=59095 if you do the diagnostic it will tell you if any sensors like the afm are faulty
  20. the auto switch control box is directly behind the drivers side arm rest the clutch in the motor is plastic so id say if the window is not going all the way up now you need a new motor aswell. if you trace the neg and pos powerwire for the motor and try connecting both ways to a 12volt battery ie. connect neg and pos one way and then the other way. if it doesnt move up one way and down then the motor is broken. The switches that you use for controlling the window are seperate to the control box.
  21. the control box is behind the door panel its about 10cmx4x3 and when you wind the window down it clicks. if it will not stop winding up but can wind down id suggest that when its at the top touch the down button real quick to make it stop or you will burn out your motor if your in Sydney you can get them from SSS auto in Giraween thats where i got mine from. if you open up the auto control box and the contacts separate when you let go of the button then its your auto wind up switch . if it is sticking dont poke with screwdriver cause it will short heaps of stuff. hope i helped
