  1. Welcome, and I wouldn't worry about asking stupid questions, I don't think i could rebuild a matchbox car! and they don't even have engines, but the more time I spend on the forums the more I learn.
  2. A black GTR zoomed past me on Athllon Drive at about 6:00pmish tonight, I was going the other way. I waved but i think it was into the next state before I even got my hand off the wheel!
  3. Good to get some responses, I work pretty much every weekend, but only till 4 on Sundays and the days are getting longer as we speak so i thought I would throw out the idea of meeting on a sunday evening. We could meet, drive somewhere, throw a football, kick a soccerball or what ever, BBQ some dinner and crusie back with everyones hot plate lights burning. What do you all think? and if someone has a decent camera i could get a better pic of my car for my avatar because this one works in theory but the quality is pretty poor.
  4. I agree compleatly with Gus, we should get together to welcome OZR32GTR (and myself as well). I meet Andrew (Superfly Skyline) on Monday, and would like to meet a few more of you. It would be nice to have some friends who don't think that a skyline is just a car! Does anyone have some suggestions as to where, when and what? My car spends most of its time sitting in the driveway at home or in the carpark at woden and i'm sure it gets very bored with that, so lets organise something.
  5. I would also like to say welcome, I have also just joined the site and so far am finding it a very useful thing.
  6. Drove past a Silver R33 GTR at little after 2:00pm today just outside the ANU, gave a wave and got snubbed! :talk2hand
  7. Turned up meet Andrew (superflyskyline) waited around, waited around, came home...
  8. I brought my R33 GTS-T from Brian Hall in woden, it was priced at about 26.5 but i got it for 20. So don't be to put off by prices. I think buying from a dealership is a better idea because it is safer to have a warrenty. Its a good idea to get an NRMA inspection done as well, I wasn't going to, but my Dad insisted so we got one done and that picked up a few probs that the dealership got fixed for me, they also organised a rego inspection and to get the imobiliser installed for me, which they paid half of as well. I think if you don't let the dealership stuff you around you can do fairly well. I would also suggest if you havn't driven a GTR and GTST you take both for a drive before you make a choice.
  9. neither are my typeing skills read "stopping" as "spotting"
  10. Breifly caught a glimpse of a silver GTR, R33 i think but my stopping skills arn't wonderful, on drakeford drive turned off towards Tuggeranong at the round about at about 20 to six. Saw what I think was the same one just past Calwell on the way home at about 10 to 9
  11. Ok i'll be there, thanks for the encouragement!
  12. Hey Guys I've just joined the site and this cruise sounds like fun. I've had my R33 GTST for almost a year and most of my friends think it is just a car! I have never turned up to anything like this though and am somewhat neverous meeting new people which is kinda stupid because I work in retail and talk to people I don't know everyday, what do I need to know?
