s*it think head recon** is in favor. Mate how do you check ur hydralic valve lifters? by any chance how much did u spend on fixing the head. If your mechanic minded, is head removal easy to do but time consuming?

yup its at top dead centre took off no.1 spark plug to see if the piston is at top n it is.Whiel turning 1half turn its ok no resistance den half way suddenly stop I cant turn it at all.***ck hope its not the valves hiting the pistons? could it???

Hi guys, just finished changing timing belt, everything is on and bolted, now the problem is when i rotate the crank shaft(clockwise) using a long bar it would spin free for a half turn then it would stop as if somethin is on the way. Is this normal? I have checked if everything is tdc and all are in the dot. What could be wrong? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys thanks for all the replies but unfortunatley found out that the timming belt have been chewed up badly by the cam gears...You guys r right(blind elk, and MBS206)F*@$k..Should i still hope for the best? can it be fixed?? Anyone from victoria south east suburbs that could point a mechanic expert or after hour job that dont charge like gold?? Again really appreciate all your input thanks y'all..

nope nothing. The wheels just skidded like someone pulled the e-brake.

Well that ruled out the ignitor as the cuase of my car not cranking.

HI all have anyone fried their igniter? The little square thing before your coilpack. What are the symptoms? What cuause it . Sorry guys but really desparate on finding why my car wont start. Please have a look on general maintenace. Thanks

Yeah dat;s another thing I might look up the igniter cuz I have recently mod the ignition to a waste spark set up. I have double checked the wiring but its all fine. What are the symptoms if your igniter is fryed?

Think it's time for carby cleaner or brake cleaner!!Check ur acc valve. There a tutorial here on how to clean it.

Yeah I was thinking maybe the igniter does'nt work cuz of my waste spark set up. But why does'nt it crank. I can hear a click but that's it. Does anyone know how to check the ecu error code. Sorry guys but realy desperate here!! Thanks for the replies

But there's still power. Headlights n interior lamps work all electronic works, put in a new battery with 470ccamps on it but still doesnt start. tried push starting it no go, jump start it still nothing all I hear is a click thats it no crank or anything its not turning over....

Hi everyone just need your help have searched the forum n tried, what could be wrong with my r33 gtst series1. I was driving just cruising around on a hot victorian day, when slowed down to stop on a traffic light my car suddenly stop running, all the power lights still running stereo on and nothing that would suspect its the battery. Jump start it no go. Push start it again n again no go. den went n bought a new battery with 470cca on it, still no go. when I turn the ingnition on I can hear the fuel pump priming, then turn key all the way to start, all i hear is just a click, dash lights dim then nothing not even a crank just a click.Ive checked the crank angle sensor, afm (cleaned), push all the plugs making sure they are connected properly, tap the starter motor with a hammer,checked all the fuse in the car, boot, and front engine but all is fine and still no go. what could be wrong. Here are my mods fron mount, piggy back fuel controler(e-manage), boost control 10psi, changed my ignition to a waste spark. Please help!!! THANKS

I have XR6T (blue) injectors, which are top feed with custom fuel rail. Everything sits nice and tight with stock intake plenum. Not sure what injectors rated at or the cost but probably be cheaper then side feed ones. Custom fuel rail ?? FRom what kind of car??? thanks
