  1. figured as much i notice sometimes mike gets excited. poor bugga
  2. dude the harness you get will still need to plug to something Mike, so you go buy a harness and what do you connect the harness to?? how do you get it into the cars wiring. there isnt a plug just sitting there waiting to be used for a turbo timer. if that was the case, then you would just be joining your wires to this plug anways and you wont be splicing into the vehicles wiring. YA FEEL ME BRO
  3. right thats sounds cheap as. do the numbers still light up as normal in the evening time, so it will still act like your regular gauges or are we up sh!t creek at night cant check with car quest or evo R until monday as they were on holidays
  4. its you regular dash mat, dark grey/black colour brand spankers except i pulled the cardboard hanging up bit off the end to test it in the car. never been installed though $55 memphis wanted it previously but has not returned my call. so not sure whats going on there. Zanda is next in line, but havent heard from him either so I am starting a queue
  5. As per previously It does cost money, but the other thread has been mysteriously closed.
  6. someone who wants this please PM me so I can get it gone thanks RiaZ
  7. vspec cos i know where you live, i will pop round on the weekend after calling you first and then come borrow stuff, its alittle far for the overgrown minus 2 wheels of grip wrx to come to your place. I can return them the same day also if you want.
  8. Hi peeps i need a voltmeter to test some coil packs anyone wanna lend or even help anyone got some spare packs
  9. yeah they will prolly notice the increase in your joy to be at work they will be onto you straight away
  10. gps would be nice mike, but your insurance dont get any cheaper with a wizz bang alarm. The insurance is there to protect you when the car is stolen etc. and god knows you are paying for it. so you might as well put in a decent autowatch or a laserline and then make sure your insurance is paid.
  11. dont those boomerang ones use GPS i think places like carmate in sydney can get em.
  12. Ring Audio Image in Rivervale, 9479 8882 Ask for Phil or Dom, Tell em RiaZ recommended them
  13. If you are buying the car from Autoworx in Wangara, I would not hesitate in the slightest. Nothing but good comes from that man
  14. your new name is duckman BTW
  15. now you have given away both our work secrets man i am never robbing a bank with your help but mind you with such an endless supply of mexican midgets wanting thai sex, we are set for life i'd say
  16. okay i am back and alone again i c doh well anyways i vegged all day long today read a book mostly while at work which is bad cos I got alot of work to do terrible, just terrible.
  17. might as well just get a Autowatch alarm with the electric window wind up unit and then it can be wired with your turbo timer, otherwise if i had known you wanted a hardcore alarm you can also get the autowatch with a turbo timer, but it can be wired in very easily and then you can save on the installation
  18. well after a couple of ecu's and a coil packs changed/knock sensors changed and afm changed and about everything auxillary thing around the engine changed. plugged in a wolf and it all seemed to go away did you by any chance also fill up some bad fuel at any stage? he thought it might have been that, but really that more than likely had nothing to do with it.
  19. hullo
  20. holy crap dude its the same as wannabes car. i cant believe i am reading this. the "its the only skyline i have ever seen with this problem" is about to become, "its only the second skyline i have seen with this problem"
  21. adrian if you will give me a good price for it, i will buy it off you
  22. yeah al we knew the market value that the auction place has set for the car and the reserve price they have advised the bank. thats the reason Liz went to see the bank privately before it went to auction. hope you can help Al.
  23. thanks Ken, I only had this car for like a month, and I installed the boost gauge, i didnt use any clamps for it in the engine bay so it might have popped off. I havent touched much around the car at all. accept for the aesthetics, cos the rest was too much work to go through everything and make sure it was all there. I got the car from a dealer so you gotta assume a certain amount of stuff has been covered. But the gauge popping off is my fault. Sorry Mike. if thats what it is.
  24. hey adrian, sorry to hear about your work situation man, are you gonna start looking again straight away or are you gonna dole it for a while
  25. those wires i think would have originally been part of the factory boost solenoid which controls the boost up to 5psi and then at a certain rpm it goes to 7psi you are running 7psi all the time at .5 bar and there is no solenoid in site. i dont think those wires are going to cause any sort of problem, you can get heat shield tubing etc for it if you want. or cable tie it elsewhere in the engine bay so it isnt hanging. i think this is calling for a weekend lookover
