  1. Hi guys it does in fact turn out to be the AFMs that were dead. I tried on my mate's spare AFMs and the car has been working flawlessly. I would like to ask another question, what readings should the oil pressure and oil temperature gauges be reading if the car is functioning correctly? Thanks
  2. Hi Guys, The other day I was driving my r32 gtr and after a 40 minute drive the revs dropped and when I put my foot down to accelerate the car wasn't going and a few seconds later it just stalled on me and luckily I was able to turn into a private road. I initially thought that I got some water into the air filters by accident the day before when I washed it but it happened one more time before I got home. The next 2 days it was fine and so I thought the water in the filters would have dried out but when I was driving home the other day as I got to my driveway once again the revs dropped and it wanted to stall. I took out the filters and left them in the sun and it also did the same thing when I tried to drive it. I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with their car and what the problem turned out to be. My car is completely stock it is unmodified and still has the factory setup. Thanks for your help.
  3. Selling my r32 gtr which I have owned for a very short time. It was involved in a horrific accident a month ago so I need to get rid of it mainly because I do not want to be reminded of the accident. It still has more than 8 months rego on it and fully complied. I cannot afford to fix it as I was quoted around $5000 to fix it. It needs work done to the front end and the rear quarter panel as well. I'm selling this for 15k firm nothing under that because I'm ready to loose a few thousands because this cast has cost me 25k all up but nothing more. We all know what these cars are worth and I would keep it and save up to get it fixed but like I said I need it gone asap. Everything on the cars still works flawlessly and the motor is 100% and absolutely nothing wrong with it. I just recently did a big service on it with the right oils, oil filters etc. I will not be posting any photos of it on here for personal reasons that I have but if your keen on a cheap r32 gtr then send me a pm. About the car: Year: r32 gtr 94 Colour: grey Mileage: 103k Condition: completely stock with r33 wheels MINUS the damage from the accident Location: Sydney Rego: about 8 months Price: 15k FIRM!!!! Sorry about the unorthodox post but given the circumstances its very hard to even look at the car. I can disclose a bit more info in a personal message. I'll try and add the list of parts the panel beater said I needed to give you an idea of what's required to fix it.
  4. Thanks for the assistance guys but jeez nothing comes cheap for a gtr does it. $330 for the C pillar gear, $110 for the centre vents and $88 for the passenger. I guess it's genuine parts that's why. I'll also search the forums to find a solution for my digital clock. It's not a big deal but it annoys me that it doesn't work.
  5. Hi Guys, I need a few pieces preferably in good condition for my r32. I need the small digital clock, the rear interior bits see image attached, not sure what they're called. I also need the 2 rectangular aircon vents as mine has broken fins as well as the dash protector if anyone has it.
  6. I took it to a locksmith and they fixed it for me for like $20. I'm going to install an alarm system and central locking but its always good to have a working lock as a backup. Arrow locksmiths at Wetherill Pk do a great job if anyone needs it.
  7. Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum, I've recently bought a r32 gtr and the driver side key lock hole does not work well when you try and unlock it using the key. The passenger side works well but the driver side seems to be jammed. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem without having to replace the key and all of the lockable stuff like the ignition, both doors and boot. I'll be installing an alarm soon on the car so I will have key-less entry but I'm very fussy about my car and hate it when something doesn't work. Do you think a locksmith might be able to fix it? Thanks
