  1. Hi Guys, Looking to purchase a clean, straight, loved, low kms Stagea c34. Around the 50,000 - 80,000 on the clock. I'm considering importing, but I'm open to offers. Not in a hurry to buy, sometime over the coming months.
  2. Thanks guys, R33 GTST seems to be the best budget performance, especially now that I've had a taste of it, I don't want to go back. By the way, have a look here - interesting conversations: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2407644
  3. Hi Forum, I've always loved Japanese performance > never owned my dream car, and now might be my last chance. With our first baby on the way, my wife is close to giving me permission to buy a performance coupe. < Yeah yeah, here come the trolls. I took an R33 GTST for a test drive last night, and loved it. The R34 has always been my favourite shape. I'm on a very tight budget, my wife said 5 grand but I know I can lift that higher if well justified. 4 doors would actually work to my advantage here, but I much prefer 2 door. I don't want: • To buy a ticking bomb that will die in 1 year (I want to re-sell it for in the future for more than scrap metal). • To have a hard time finding parts, or very high maintenance. I'm okay with: • Average fuel efficiency. • Any number of seats. • Basic maintenance. I always do my research before hand, so far R33 GTST seems to be the "cheapest performance" I can find in my budget. Anybody else have any ideas / suggested cars?
  4. Happier to spend money on a car I love than a car I hate. Little mods / upgrades / upkeep is fine by me.
  5. NOOB WARNING Hi Forum, WTB: Skyline R32 / R33 / R34 Turbo or similar 6 cylinder Turbo (Silvia / Coupe) First post here, I've been lurking for a while. I've owned a few cars throughout my life, but always wanted a Skyline / drifting coupe. Finally that day has come. Recently married, kid on the way, this is my last chance to get one, own it for a couple of years, then sell it before upgrading to a tarago / people mover. With a stack of sweet talking, my wife has agreed to let me buy a coupe > and I'm keen on R33 GTS-T's (but open to other cars). My budget isn't great, she suggested 5k but I know it's going to take a bit more than that to get a good condition car. I'm looking for that "sweet deal" - so I'll probably have to sit back and watch forums/classifieds for a few months to find a nice condition R33 GTST (or something similar) for $6k - $8k. If anyone out there is selling their loved Skyline, and wants to help a depressed Ford EL driver out (I'm sick of my car going to the mechanic every fortnight), post specs, pics, and asking price below. If it's going to need a bit of money spent on it, list what needs repairing and how much it'll likely cost. I'm open to other cars, my first car was a KE70 and I'd love a decked out one of those. Priority? Fun + Sideways + sounds good. Any advice / help / offers appriciated.
  6. Hi OP, First ever post > I'm looking for a new car to replace my Fix Or Repair Daily. This Stagea looks sick. Excuse my ignorance, but how much are you asking? Simon,
