  1. Thanks Craved and Adriano, went to Auto-one this morning and got some. Not exactly what I was after, more like these 'plastic cable tie mounts' http://www.rct.net.au/PDF/Brochures/AusPro...SBAP0205026.pdf but in a heavier duty steel / alloy
  2. Thanks Craved, you wouldn't happen to have a picture of them by chance? If not I have ordered a catalogue, so will just have to wait a few days, thanks again.
  3. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I am trying to source some clips or something that I can rivet to a chassis (or attach with nut-serts) and then cable tie hoses to. To do the same kind of job as the clamps that hold hydraulic hoses, but can be riveted? I have seen the little square white plastic stick-on ones but they are not heavy duty enough. I don't want to run a cable tie around the whole rail as it lokos messy. Any suggestions? Thankyou

  11. How important are the little shims behind the brake pads and what do they actually do? I've lost one when changing the pads and am wondering if I can without 1? Thankyou
  12. --Thanks for the info all, looks like I won't be buying something 'really good' just yet!. Now looking for a set of cheaper standard or aftermarket rotors to get me through for a while if anyone has anything available. Thanks again.
  13. -Thanks very much doodz - your deduction powers are a shiteload better than my search powers! Thanks again, much appreciated.
  14. Well, I need new front rotors for my skyline - R33 GT-R vspec, what are the best rotors (or best compromise between rotors and price). Will hopefully be seeing more track time soon. I was looking at the DBA rotors but after reading a thread on them here have gone off them a bit. Also what pads should I be looking at getting? Thankyou
  15. Can anyone please help me out with a paint code?? I need the code for a 96 R33 GT-R V-spec - yes I have searched, and I can't look on the compliance plate. The colour is midnight purple Thankyou.
  16. -Is there anything on tonight? going out for dinner etc? if so can someone give me a call 0408 615135. Be good to meet a few of you before tomorrow. Cheers, Jarrod
  17. Thanks all, was just two loose bolts on the 'EGR' (Engine Gas Recirculation) valve, nipped them up and it was fine!
  18. One of our Pajero turbo diesel wagons at work is making a funny noise when the turbo kicks in, srt of like a buzzing/low pitched squealing noise. Happens at exactly 2200rpm every time. Hasn't lost any power, just started making this noise. Could it be a stuffed bearing in the turbo?? Thankyou
  19. Who can tell me where to buy Methanol and any idea of price? Probably 20L or so. Thankyou
  20. I'd be pretty keen.
  21. -Yeah, great point. I suppose what I want is totally unrealistic. A switch in the cab saying 'lag' or 'no lag' and when you're not worried about fuel consumption flick the switch - you've got V-8 like pickup from idle until the turbo(s) kick in, and then boost! - Surely that couldn't be to hard!!
  22. thanks everyone for all the replies, dangerous_daveo - not going to rush out and try the motor thing! - (although I might one day) just started the thread as a bit of a hypothetical on ways to get around lag. I realise a good tune etc etc will go a long way to helping, but I guess what I was thinking was possible ways to eliminate lag.
  23. ..What is 'anti-lag'?
