iijj pitty ur in brisbane man cause i wanna swap my black head lights for the chrome. why do u want to change them? are they in shit condition? i personaly think the chrome insides look heaps better than the black.

Al i know i should have just replaced it (now) but i thought i had a serious prob. any way my mistake. secoh the jumperleads i was using where (looked) like very good quality. they are the anti zap ones 400amp from a good spare parts dealer. must have just been a dud set.

i found the problem.............. i must have left the interior light on, the night before it died which ment the battery was totally dead. then in the morning i had nothing tried to jump start it after checking all the fuses and it wouldn't even jump start so i continued asuming the problem was in the car........... later with the multimeter in my hands i desided to check the jumper leads i was using for continuity. and to my surprise it turns out they where stuffed for some reason they whern't carrying the current??????? they where brand new antizap leads??????? so i tried a different older pair of jumper leads and it started... end of drama....

The other battery i tried is excellent i use it in my other car no probs. ive checked all the fuses including the main fuse. Gloof i do have an immobiliser, if this is at fault could this stop power to everything though?

i tired another battery but didnt work! the battery i tried is a month old out of my other car.

some one out there must have a clue?

some one please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive got no power at all...... no ignition lights. no head lights. no interior central locking not even working. ect ect. the starter motor isnt even clicking. it seems like a totally flat battery, but i tried jump starting it and still got nothing. checked the conections. checked all the fuses in the boot, in the cabin, and also in the engine bay but all fuses are ok including the main fuse in the boot. anyone got any ideas????????

yes they are the same i fitted the VL water pump to my RB25DET only a week ago. they fit no probs at all.

it sure looks different! very ricey but i think it looks ok. hes just trying to be different and after all, thats what the import seen is all about isn't it? i really like the clear blinkers on the front bar .

i am only 22 and i borrowed $10k and saved the rest to buy my skyline. i also have a home loan to repay. i pay $70 a week for my personal loan for the skyline and $300 a week for my home loan. the reason i can afford this and all my mods and still have money left over is i work hard and do alot of over time and work close to home(10kms). i get payed well for what i do. im a plant/heavy vehicle mechanic earning an average of $800 after tax per week including over time(i work dam hard for that) if i do heaps of over time i can get $1000 a week but then i would have no life you can also save alot of money buy not getting pissed every night and not doing drugs and not smoking.......if ppl could control them self and not spend money on shit like above every one could afford good cars.

just listen to what eva u like. be different. dont follow everyone else and be sheep.

boxhead i recon thats a great idea. thats great thinking. if everyone started to do this then the insurance companies would wake up to them selves and start charging realistic prices.

no the uv neons dont work on the white number plates. i tried that first.

i have a blue neon light behind the rear bar, above my number plate. only the blue glow is visable on the white number plate. ppl always tell me it looks cool. and ive had a few cops behind me and they have never said anything about it or never pulled me over for it.

maybe he just doesnt know what hes talking about.

i got quoted $2100 from quick track including the first years monitoring. and $350 every year after. that was about a year ago now.

for the spark plugs do a search and read the threads to make up ur own mind on wheather u want platinums or not. i got platinums but only cause i got then for free. u will also find variouse part numbers for different brands when researching the plugs.

genuine nissan numbers for rb25det oil filter:same as VL RB30 timing belt:13028-20p25 water pump:21010-21u25 (also same as vl rb30) a/c belt:11720-77a00 alternator belt:11720-42L01 p/s belt:11950-58s01 fuel filter i used z202 after market belt numbers from bosch a/c belt:4pk910 alt belt:4pk850 p/s belt:3pk345 (alot cheaper)

mine has no abs but i still have 2 boxs under the parcel shelf............ could it possibly be an ecu for the auto transmission????????

just wondering is it posible to fit 2x 15 inch subs in the boot of an r33 (in a sealed box, mounted behind the seat) how big would the box have to be? would i still have enough room left in my boot? i want the box hard up against the back seat with the subs facing rear of car, will i have to move the battery? will the vibrations effect the battery? thanks in advance for the help.

yes the water pump is the same as the rb30 unit.
