meggala any idea on what sort of kits? i really want a bold squarish shape to the side skirts (like 400r). to match my front bar. bye the way you have a great web site man! very informative. kik-ass the main reason is i like the 400r skirts better so if i can get a set custom made to a 4 door it may be worth it if the price isnt too much higher. but if it cost to much then i will have to stick with the impul skirts and rear bar i just dont want to kick myself later if i buy the impul parts i need then find out some one can custom make the one i really want.

i really want a set of 400r side skirts modified or custom made to suit my skyline(r33 4 door). does any one know who could do this. any help and contacts appreciated.

jlnewton thanks for the pics. im trying to decide which is the best rear bar to go on my skyline as most of them seem a bit plain. i really want some thing bold looking to match my 400r front bar. at the moment im trying to get a set of 400r side skirts custom made or modified(extended) to fit on my 4 door. if anyone knows some one that can do this please let me know. because most aftermarket rear bar seem fairly plain on skylines i was thinking of getting the veilside rear bar but i really dont like the idea of mixing to many parts from different kits. any ideas for a rear bar to suit my 400r front guys? (besides the 400r one).

the rear bumper is easy to remove. just first take off the number plate then open the boot then remove bolts around bottom of bumper and then the inside ones (three on each side) they are behind the trim panels on each side.

i havent bought them yet. im just about to but was hoping to get a group buy or a least a couple of orders to make it a bit cheaper. so far j-spec has copies ready for the rear bar, side skirts and side 1/4 spats. rearbar is $400 skirts(pair) $350 rear spats(pair) $150 the rest of the kit will be ready soon. you can buy them separetly of course. im trying to get a couple of ppl to order with me so we could get a good discount hear are pics.

tony your right only the front 400r bar looks loney, rest of the kit is pretty ordinary thats why im trying to chase up impul side skirts and rear bar for mine (i think the impul kit looks more aggresive. p.s when are you going to give them trailer blinkers the flick? or atleast change them to clear one like mine..lol Merli corect me if im wrong but u where at eastern creek for the last street meet weren't you? what times did you end up running? look for my 33 racing out at the meets soon.

I had the same prob with my fan(squeaky after a 700KM none stop drive) fix it the next day buy taking the fan assembly off the water pump the leaving it sit over night with very thin oil in the center clutch part, over night the oil soaked in and now its excellent. (you cant get the oil straight in, you have to let it soak over night).

mine came with an auto trans cooler and the oil still runs through the radiator then through the extra cooler then back to the box.

you are putting the coats on to heavy and not leaving enough drying time inbetween coats. it may also be a cheap nasty paint with a high thiner content?

ive got a four door and been through this. most front bars will (if coresponding model). side skirts- not a chance, you will have to get impul side skirts (if you can find them or get some one to copy them) other wise get a set of side skirts custom made. i have a 400R front bar on mine and currently waiting on J-spec in melbourn to copy the impul kit for me (side skirts, rear 1/4 spats and rear bar) taking there time though!!!!!!!!!! been waiting for almost 6 months already if your interested in the impul 4 door kit for an R33 send them an email.

the air it will be sucking will be heaps cooler than in the engine bay, even compaired to ppl with partitions. but i would be so worried about things hitting the filter and as u say water. im happy to duct the cold air up to mine. saves the stess.

no its not cyal8r. guess again. i recon the bar is too dam low. i wish i had of got a 2 piece one so i could take the bottom piece off. to late now but. i have 18s on the car but it may seem high cause i havent lowered it yet. still stock suspension.

yes i have a 400R front bar on mine. i also noticed the gap is slightly bigger between the bar and the head lights , but no one else has noticed yet. you dont have to bend or cut your plates just use the middle holes of the plate and put in washers or some sort of spacer between the plate and the bar.

i use platinums 0.8 and never missed beat. when ever you buy a set of plugs for ur car they should be pre-gapped to 1.1 but always regap them most ppl regap theres to 0.8mm

i had a really good run a couple of weeks ago with a new 200sx spec R he reved at the lights, i reved, he gave a nod and said lets go, traffic lights go green we both floor it he was reving it pretty hard but i absolutly blew him away, so much so that i think he must have missed a gear. after 400m or so i turned off and waved to him for a good run and for some reason the dickhead in the passanger seat yelled something out and they flew past me??????????? what is it with ppl like this? it was a fare run i dont understand why they done this? why couldnt they just aknowledge my win and say bye?????
