it didnt cost me anything. done it myself! its called polished alloy. not chrome.

yeah plenum was deffinetly the hardest. took about 8 hours to get it that good, and i still want it better, but its ok. not much elbow grease, just very time consuming and while doing the job with buffing wheels on a bench grinder the alloy get very hot so u have to wear gloves also. it also makes the job alot easier if you sand all the cast marks out and make the surface area smooth as possible.

hi all i just finished polishing my cam covers, plenum, intake pipe and cas. it turned out better then i expected. done it all my self with a couple of different compounds and buffing wheels on my bench grinder. i want to get rid of the blue condue and use some blue silicon hoses.

go for a dot 5 sinthetic fluid. get the clear stuff to cause it looks better. (cleaner) -
ok its pretty obviouse that the phone thing doesnt work. or at least not always. my question is: is there a radar detector on the market that works well and that the police cant detect? ive heard stories of the police being able to detect the radar dectors.

the other thing to change is ur water pump. if ur not confident then dont try a DIY job.

you can take the inner guard out and pop them out from the inside. also gives you the chance to wipe all the crap out of the lower part of the guard( wich will cause rust eventually)!

yep they are the same as the gtr clear ones. very dear. i want a set but i will wait till i see a set for sale. i have the clear trailer lens in mine, they look ok . but close up you can see they are trailer lens's. i know unique auto sports has them but they are in castlehill sydney. very dear though.

just get an aftermarket boost gauge to see exactly what ur running.
