dam!!! i need some one to come to my house so i can take there rear bar off to see if it fits on my 4 door........ can some one in sydney do me this big favor?????????????

all i know is the price of a second hand r33 4 door rear bar is $650 and i had to learn from the hard way. a stupid 19yo girl with no insurance and no job ran up the arse of my car in a vn commodore last week. and im heaps pissed off about it. ive been trying to contact her for a week and all i get is an answering machine. she did a total of $4800 damage to my rear end!!!!!!!!! by the way do u happen to have a rear bar off a coupe lying around cause i need to find out if a coupe one will fit mine, cause then i will know if i can get a veilside copy rear bar to fit the 4 door.

guys if you shop around you can get the el luminouse dial for as little as $150 like me. i got them from a place in parramatta.

has anyone got an old 2 door r33 rear bar lying around so i can check if it fits on my 4 door????????????????

Timmy G if you take it to a proper bumper place (the places that offer exchange/ reconditioned bars) they will have no problem repairing it. i seen a plastic bumper bar off some rare car (cant remember what it was) and it was smashed to pieces but they fixed it up better than new.

ok guys i want to put a veilside rear bar on my r33 4door. first question is does anyone know if it fits for sure???? im 99% sure it will next question is does anyone know if the 4door rear bumper bar support/reo is the same as the coupe? if not, i will need a coupe rear bar support/reo for the new bar? will the coupe rear bar support/reo bolt straight up to the sedan rear end. as with the rear bar im 99% sure it will i think it should all bolt up the same cause the shape of the lower rear end(below tail lights) looks the same, except the original 4 door rear bar stick out more then the coupe one, thats why i think the support/reo may be different? if anyone can give me a yes/ no answer i would greatly appreciate it.

skyla ur dash surround looks great. i to tried doing the carbon contact but i got the shits with it cause i couldnt get it perfect so i just ripped it back off, then decided to just paint it in the cameleon paint. and it turned out great. but all credit to u. urs turned out great.

milk what dials are those, in ur instrument cluster?(the speedo/ tacho face ect)???

yeah im sure the whole impul kit will fit a coupe, besides the side skirts of course, and the parts around the tail lights(i think they look crap), but both bars will fit.

please argue by pm, not in this thread please.

gaffa the tail lights are the same shape at the bottom(the shape at the top is different). i have compaired the coupe with the 4 door bumper and the only difference is the 4 door one is bolder and sticks out a bit further then the 2 door bumper. but im 99% sure it can fit if i also change the bumper support.

ive changed my plugs, checked the coil packs, even checked the resistance of the coil packs with a multimeter. every thing seems to be normal. the miss is still there. only under a fair bit of load though, so it looks like im going to have to buy a s-afc i think robo is right! it must be dumping to much fuel...... LastTemptation i know what u mean dude, funny thing is i am a mechanic. (a heavy vehicle mechanic though) so i only know diesl!!!! and electrical isnt one of my stong points. i did check all the obvious things first, but its good to get other ppls opinions and maybe learn from others ppls experiences. looks like i will have the problem sorted out when i get my hands on an apexi safc. thanks for your help guys.

im after an after market rear bar for my r33 GTS-T 4 door(im sure 2 door rear bars also fit) i would preffer a veilside copy or a standard rear bar with a GTR bar extention and i also need the reo/bar support.
