  5. robo thanks for the info. i turned my boost down to 6 psi and the problem isnt as bad, but it is still there. it missfires at 6500 rpm, just before gear change. if it still does it with the boost down to 6psi this leads me to think it may be something else because its only just started to do it also.(within the last week) or do you think i should just get a safc.
  6. sorry mate i bought my exhaust yesturday, cat back mandrel bent with stainless muffler all 3'' with 4.5'' tip costed me $600 its a pitty i couldnt wait cause i would have saved a bit of money!!!!
  7. ok Robo ive done the search and what u say about the safc sounds good. but if the fuel dumping is my problem could this be fixed by simply turning the boost down? how much would it cost me for a safc and a good tune? i do want to put in an apexi power fc in my car soon, so would i be wasting my time and money buying the safc? also my car is an auto so i dont know if i can use an apexi power fc?????????
  8. yeah the plugs were gap to 0.8 when i put them in about 4 months ago.
  9. mine arrived today! im very happy, well done P1E
  10. hi guys i have recently found that there is a misfire in my r33 gts-t at about 6500rpm under load in first gear runing at 6psi when i run it at 10psi the problem gets worse and does it at about 4000, then 5000 then 6000 rpm. it feels very similar to when you hit the rev limiter only you feel it the once. the only mods are k&n pod filter with cai, turbo smart boost controler (swichable) and i have only just put a full 3'' exhaust on this week. anyone know what this problem could be or any ideas?
  11. does the bosch 044 fuel pump go straight into a r33 GTS-T? with out any mods.
  12. is it 3'' all the way or 2.5 going to 3'' muffler. i am interested if pipe dia is 3'' all the way.

  17. r31 Skyline chick yeah iknow what ur saying, but i dont mind getting dirty, im a heavy vehicle/plant mechanic by trade so im always dirty anyway. DJ_L3THAL i have no idea how much a pro would charge to do it. id imagime it would cost a fortune, but they would have all the right gear and get it way better then mine. also i personally dont like the blue on my hose and wiring! i want to purchase some blue silicon hoses to replace the black one and get rid of the blue plastic. rb20-calais pm me. let me know when you want it done. if you can remove and refit ur self?
  18. only thing with gluing it down is, what happens if ur boot release or latch fails?
  19. turbo smart high/low switchable boost controler boosted to 10psi. cheapest cause i got the controler off a mate that works at a car yard, he got it off a wrx that was traded in. next would have to be my K&N air filter and cold air intake+partition.
  20. DJ_L3THAL i wipe it over every time i wash the car and give it a light polish by hand about every 3-4 weeks and still looks as good as the day i did it. deffinetly cant do it unless u have a good bench grinder! you wont even be able to use a angle grinder because u need the loose leaf mop to get the best shine. you could always do it by hand, but you would have to do a lot more sanding, and it would take you an eturnity.
  21. r31 skyline chick ur plenum looks really good, who did you get it done by? i was thinking about going in to business for myself and doing polishing full time. what do you guys think.
  22. first i sanded the parts with wet and dry sand paper by hand. i used three different grades, i think they wher 800 through to 1200. them use a stitch cotton mop(buffing wheel) on a bench grinder,(has to be at least an 8inch) use the stitched mop with a brown buffing compound. then once you get a shinny finish u use a different buffing mop(loose leaf) with a white buffing compound. and u can get it a shinny as i did. u also need a spindle (adaptor) for the buffing wheel to fit on a bench grinder. guys remember this takes hours to get the result that i got. 8 hours to do the rocker(cam) covers. 6 hours to do the intake pipe. 1/2 hour to do the CAS and about 9 hours to do the plenum. and this is only polishing time. not removing or fitting parts back on.
  23. the side clear indicators for the r33 that i put up for sale in this thread was way too cheap i sold them same day for $50. the buyer got a good bargain.
