  1. Went to a different Nissan and FAST or whatever they use was definitely showing the same part the other Nissan gave me. 100% does not fit. Went and grabbed a z445 and the built in gasket fits perfectly so if anyone has their orange o-ring on the engine block side fail just grab one from an oil filter. Definitely does the job.
  2. Sorry guys - Nissan said the exact name was "Engine Oil Filter Adaptor Gasket". I had no idea what it was called when I rang them, took me ages to explain it but it is definitely the o-ring on the other side of the oil filter. I find it hard to explain where it is but to get to it you remove the oil filter, unbolt the part the filter screws into and it's on the back. It's orange, mine failed. The only reference to it I could find on here was someone saying they had to replace the orange o-ring but never any part #s mentioned. It does look almost identical in size to the oil filter gasket (rubber one) but I'm not sure if I am game to just take one from a filter unless someone else has first, heh. Apparently it's common for it to fail on VQ engines @ around 180k and I'm just over 200k.
  3. Forgot to mention it is an M35.
  4. Anyone replaced this? Went to Nissan for a genuine part and I am pretty sure they gave me the wrong piece as it's too big or I'm trying to shove it in the wrong groove. They provided 21304JA11A and I think I need 15239AL800. I'm going to head back tomorrow but if anyone has swapped this before and can confirm/deny that'd be great.
  5. Any cheapish easy options for rear shocks only? No point doing coilovers when I am selling it. My research is telling me I pretty much have no options other than NSF2069 @ ~$200 each or finding some used. Is this about right?
