  1. There seems to be a replacement for the PA11-NIS. It's called the PA15-NIS. Anyone know if it will work fine in a V35?
  2. He's right about the under car neons. As long as you can't see the source of the light it's ok. What he said about wheel size is not true. Btw I'm a WA cop.
  3. Selling a set of 4 tyres that I put on my car for compliance. I bought them brand new, drove to the licencing centre to get the car licenced, then to the local tyre shop to have them swapped back to the original tyres as the original ones had heaps of tread left. So they are just about new. I hardly drive my car so these tyres will be sitting around for some time before I need to use them. Id rather sell them. They are the standard 18" size for a V35. front: 225/45R18 Maxxis MAV1 rear: 245/45R18 Maxxis MAZ1 Yes they are a different tread on the front and rear, but Maxxis didnt make the two different sizes in the same tyre. They cost me $260 each for the front and $300 each for the rear. Total $1120. I still have the receipt somewhere. Looking to sell for $800.
  4. sorry mate. Sold it months ago - forgot to update this post
  5. Im after a Nissan badge from the front of a V35 coupe. Just the badge, not the whole grill. Mine car came with an Impul badge, but I want the original Nissan one. If you have one lying around that you want to get rid of (or swap for an Impul badge) let me know.
  6. Apexi Hybrid Evolution. Stainless steel. Came with my car from Japan, but I've decided to keep the stock exhaust on my car. Located in Perth $700 ono
  7. Just wondering if anyone has changed the front grill on their V35 and still has Nissan badge lying around. My car came with an IMPUL badge on the front, but Im after a stock appearance. PM me if you have one.
  8. Still need a stock exhaust urgently for compliance. Have PMed Pulp, but have not heard back. Now selling my Apexi exhaust for $600 including swap for stock exhaust, or $800 on its own.
  9. Im actually in Perth. Getting complied in Perth too.
  10. Theres nothing wrong with my car. Its only done 26,000km. The compliance workshop said it needs to get done - I guess according to DOTARS??? He said there is nothing he can do about it. Basically every filter/fluid etc needs to be changed. And as the coupe doesnt have a separate fuel filter Ive been told the whole fuel pump needs to be changed to a new factory one. F'king waste of a fuel pump and $$$ if you ask me.
  11. Yeah $700 is for the compliance workshop to get it direct from Japan. I just rang the local nissan dealer. They want $1015 part number 17040-CD400
  12. As the V35 coupe has no separate fuel filter, Ive been told that I have to replace the whole fuel pump as part of compliance. This alone is setting me back $700. Just wondering if there is any way around this?
  13. Just wondering if anyone in Perth has a stock V35 coupe exhaust lying around that I could borrow for compliance (for a small fee). Or if you've got a stock one that you're thinking about upgrading let me know. Im thinking about selling the one that came with the car. Its an Apexi Hybrid Evolution. Stainless steel. Fairly quiet at idle/cruising (JASMA certified), but sounds mean when you give it some. Looks fairly stock too - see pic below. Looking at $800 including swap for original exhaust PM me to work something out
  14. Do you remember where you ordered your Nismo suspension from? cheers for your help guys
  15. My V35 coupe has just landed this week, so I should be taking delivery of it pretty soon. Im looking at lowering it slightly. About 1 inch, just enough to fill the gap. Im just after a set of springs to use with the standard shocks at the moment. I havent found any Aussie companies that do springs for the V35. And after reading the G35Driver forum it seems that 350Z springs will lower a V35 an extra half inch than a 350Z. So if I got 350Z King Springs (low) for a 350Z it might be a bit too low. I dont want it sitting too low and have to fork out extra for camber kits etc. Would I be better off getting something like Tein S-Techs, specificly for the G35? They seem pretty common for the guys in the US. US$254 shipped to Aus (about AUS$300) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Tein-03-INF...Q2em118Q2el1247
  16. This might help. Just do a search for the specific vehicle. http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/A...placementGuide/
  17. Pod filter to AFM adaptor $20 pickup or $25 delivered anywhere in Aus PM or phone 0438983127
  18. Apexi RSM Blue screen version like the one below (this is not a picture of mine. Im just showing what type it is) comes with original box and manual etc. excellent condtion. Can get pictures if you want. $220 pickup available from Perth postage $5 in Aus. Also have 2 Apexi stands $10 each postage extra PM me or phone 0438983127
  19. yeah I guess it is more of a light knocking sound thanks for that
  20. In the last few days Ive noticed a clicking noise coming from my steering wheel everytime I turn the wheel. It is only noticable when turning it a fair bit like when parking etc, not when taking bends in the road. It seems like it will make a clicking noise once - maybe once per full turn of the wheel? When I go over a hard bump in the road you can hear it then too. Sounds like something is loose. Maybe the mechanism that turns off the indicator after turning? Ive taken off the steering column but cant see anything there where the noise is coming from. It seems like its in the steering wheel itself. Im just a bit worried about taking it appart - worried about the airbag going off in my face. Has this happened to anyone before. Any ideas? car is a 95 GTSt if it makes any difference
  21. I probably would have used redline heavyweight shockproof for the diff. lightweight for the gearbox
  22. My car (95 R33 GTS-t) started missing the other day. At all different engine speeds - from idle to redline. Sometimes you would put your foot down and have nothing for a few seconds, then suddenly it would kick in. I thought it was the coils, so I taped them up. The car started ok, no missing. The next day, half an hour into the drive it happened again. Then it cut out completely and refused to start. It turns over, but doesnt fire. Got it towed to the mechanic, but they cat seem to see where the problem is. - Battery has been fully charged. - sprayed a bit contact cleander on the AFM - have tried swapping ECU, CAS, coils. Spark plugs are fine - have checked all fuses, power supply My mechanic says "basically there is no signal from the ECU to the coil" It is not a fuel related problem - definitely ignition problem. Its being booked in at an auto-elec tomorrow, but hopefully someone has had a similar problem before and knows what it is. I cant do a diagnostic test cos I cant find the stupid grey plug behind my dash.
  23. PS is actually a German unit that is commonly used in Japan. (German: Pferdestärke = horse strength) 1HP is about 1PS or to be exact, 1HP = 0.986PS
