hello i am Garry is building me a RB30 bottom end.....then i am putting it together here in canada, we have no experience in tuning RB30, so i would liek u guys help !! what sorta thing should i look out for ? what's the difference in tuning compare to RB26 ? what computer is the best for tuning RB30 ? what sorta things should we look out for when putting it together with rb26 head, i think we got the basic RB30-26 swap down..but there might be little details that we missed the engine is going to sit taller, will it clear the hood, i know with rb26 and my t78 turbo it almost hits the hood, will i have even a bigger problem with this issue ? anything other rb26/30 to BNR32 info would be a great help to us !! thanks again !

hello guys Sydneykid recently offered to build and sell me a build rb30 bottom end for my application, my question is because i haven't dealt with this guy and dunno anything about him, and i am from canada. i would like anyone that have dealt with him before to tell me soemthing about him, PM me if you want to do it private. but any info would be great. he does sound like he knows his shit tho... have anyone else goten a build rb30 bottom end from him, how's his work ? when u get the bottom end from the mail, is it just like what he stated when you paid him ? anyways, any info would be great ! thanks

i need to choose one very soon -rebuild my RB26 with oem block, r33 crank, N1 oil pump, je pistons and crower rods ARP bolts and ACL bearings or get a USED rb30 block build it with forged internals, ( a fourm member have offered me a kit) now i have no experience with rb30 and would love to give it a try, but before i do that, i want to get some feed back from all you rb30/rb26 owner ! how's drive on the street ? does it drive like NA as what most ppl say ? which options would be more reliable in terms of driving it hard all the time.. thanks guys

so bak to the oil issue with rb so R33 oem crank is a better / cheaper salution ? and water pump besides N1 water pump what else can i use for street/ track application ? does JUN make a water pump for our cars on the street ? thank s

i am in the proccess of planning to rebuild my engine at the moment, and heard that there's a problem the R32's RB26 oiling system, and my build is aiming the 600-650hp range and i can't afford a NEW crank and they are like 300 000yen + my question is, will stock rb26 crank support this hp range and be safe ? what can i do to the stock crank to make it better ? if i decide to buy a new crank what do you reccormend for CHEAP/Strong crank set up i will be running N1 water pump so anything that compatible with that will be good thanks

any other site for RB30det build up ? i remeber there's a site called www.rb30det.com what happened to it and i think they sell RB30 kits too with forged pistons for $5000AUD !! if i build a RB26 with RB30 bottom, are there alot of moddifications i need to do ? does it come close to being a bolt on kit ? thanks

hello i am from canada and i drive a R32 GTR with RB26 with T78 turbo and grex cams recently my engine blew it's pistons, and now we are looking into upgrading it to something bigger ! Rb30 came into count, and now i need to learn more about these engine. where did RB30 come from ? i realized only you guys in AUS are crazy about it where as us in canada and USA don't get these engines at all. where can i get a RB30det kit ? and at the engine if i bolt on a RB30 with a RB26 head + my T78 turbo how much power / tq would i make ? do i need a special computer to tune rb30 as i have HKS f-con v-pro right now, will that work ? thanks any other links i can get RB30 parts from ?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i have a question ! when i start my car when it's cold, it starts fine, then when it's idling, it will making weird griding noise for a while, the power steering will also make noise too, sounds like there's no fluid but there is ! after when the car is HOT or normal driving temp. it will sound normal again, no noise what so every Does not effect driving performance ! engine noise when cold no engine noise when hot i am driving gts-t rb20det help thanks guys

i am looking for some feed backs for some parts for RB26 R32 gtr ----------------------------------------------------------- short shift or sequential shift kit i was looking into "STILL WAY" this is a both normal H pattern shifter or it can be changed into Sequential shifting pattern, i heard they are really good in Supras but never heard any feed backs for RB26. i want to know where i can get them ? and please give me some feedbacks on this product ! if "STILLWAY" is no go. then i might be looking into Short shift kit, can youguys tell me which one you have experience with and they good or bad ? ----------------------------------------------------------- Wide body kit for R32 GTR who makes Wide fenders for R32 GTR ? i know yanack does. but have anyone seen these in person ? and will they work with stock front bumper and stock side skirts ? who else makes wide fender for R32 GTR ? ----------------------------------------------------------- VTTR brakes i have R34 Brembo right now. looking to upgrade to Vttr 6pot front brakes with 2pc rotors. have anyone had experience with these ? how are they compare to R34 Brembos/nismo rotors ? ----------------------------------------------------------- thanks feel free to leave any replies

the most efftive way to adj. ur hand bake is from your REAR DRUM, on R32 gts-t type M it uses rear drum disk system, this allow the handbrake to use the drum and footbrake to use disk, anyways to adj. rear hand brake ............ step 1: take off rear wheel step 2: inbetween the wheels studs, there is hold with a rubber cover, to cover it so dust and dirt won't go in side, this hold will let you have access to the drum brake step 3: rotate the rotor till the hole is pointing at 6 o'clock step 4: stick a flat head screw driver into the hole, now you should be able to turn the spring that connect to the drum pads, this way it will enlarge to pad so that there are less distance from pads to drum, this will greatly effect the power of you hand brake. ps: turn the spring up will enlarge the pads diamiter, turning it down will make it smaller..also easyer if you take the rotor off hope that helps
