i was planning on goin to this but decided not too, with jambo so close and id rather save funds for that, and b y the sounds of it wasnt as good as previous years. i like old school muscle aswell, i like to see them compete together against one another...new Vs old.

  6. they might have been a strengthened stud or something he bought i dont know. all i know is im preparing for worst case scenario, if that is it i have to replace the manifold and studs and gasket plus labour. labour being the killer in this situation.
  7. thanx terry, i have gota get my mechanic mate to do it for me bcoz i dont have the time or the space to do it. but after all i just wanted to know how big the job is gonna be and how long its gonna take. to give me an estimate on price, im guessing it cost you $70 for all 12 studs then, is that a good price through your mate or is that general price....i want to know general price.
  8. Thanx for that chris, i didnt think about looking at other brands for ecu diagram lol oh well, lucky u were round i guess. il get it sorted monday i think. thanks again, hopfully this will help other that try to install a turbo timer.
  9. hi guys, i have just been to the local exhuast shop today with my car (R33gtst) bcoz it had a sound like the mainfold was leaking, anyway upon a quick inspection with stethescope it appears i was write, its leaking from aroudn the mainfold area, he said i have most likely broken a manifold stud or something similar, so now all i wanna know is : Q1: Who has had there's replaced before and around how long it took to replace?? Q2: How much for the whole job?? Q3: How much are studs to buy also and where do u get them from?? Q4: Is it worth replacing the whole lot of them while u are in there abd how many are there to replace?? Q5: When i pull the manifold off if it has cracked and i have to replace it aswell, what i a decent replacement for the standard one for a good price?? any answers to these Q's would be greatful. Thanx again Darren

  11. its already been 3, don chipp the founder of the democratic party died aswell. i mean he probably isnt a bigger icon to younger generation but he probably had some affect for the older generation. http://www.donchippfoundation.org.au/
  12. i already have the whole english manual (printed it out when i first got the timer), and upon looking through it again this is the only page that shows where to hook up to the speed wire but doesnt tell u which one is the speed wire.....(i know its probably different on all vehicles obviously) that is why i asked to see if any1 had anymore info on the computer and what wires are what. just to be sure.

  16. i have had the exact same exhuast on my car cat back kakimoto system for the past 2 1/2 years. (i have a full 3"system but the catback part is kakimoto) good exhuast very quiet for 3" system with 2 mufflers. i have since had the middle muffler taken out of the system and a straight pipe welded in, sounds a bit more grumbly now, but if u are after a good exhuast with minimal noise this is the one. it was designed by kakaimoto to keep the DB below the legal limit. GL with the sale free bump.
  17. world poker tour is where its at! its on saturday nite aswell on channel 10 love that show aye.....
  18. well no bushes have been replaced only the rubber boots on the ball joints have been replaced with noelthane ones. tyre pressures might be a factor. also slight shake in the side mirrors when i drive, happens only very lightly. i know i have a rim that has a slight bucklein it but with the balance they said it should have gone away. i have had the same rims on ther car for as long as i have owned it and im sure it woulda been there before. what i would like to do is take one of my friends rims off there skyline (aslong as they are balanced and stuff properly) and put them on mine and go for a drive to see if it changes anything at all. also i only replaced the rear tyres after the accident bcoz they were in need of replacing anyway, but the fronts still have about 70% on them id say. im not sure if they would have been flat spotted or something else with the tyre is wrong after the accident as i did slide a fair way. but they tyre shop should have picked that up during the balance & alignment etc i woulda though
  19. hi guys, wanting to know your thoughts on this problem, i have recently got my car back ont he road after an accident i had. i had to replace the engine crossmember and steering rack, tailshaft for a new one and had 2 new tyres on the rear put on and a 4 wheel balance & alignment done. when i am getting up near 100+km/h sometimes it feels like the car is a bit light compared to what it used to be, and feels like it wants to steer with ruts in the road etc i thought it might be the hicas, bcoz what else would make the car feel light steering..... any help would be appreciated.
  20. i have the same tyres on the rear of my car atm similar price aswell. i have nankangs on the fronts. they seem to grip ok but they are a new tyre only a few weeks old, so until they loose a bit of there tread u wont really see much of the grip factor, but they seem pretty grippy for the price at the moment...... nankangs are about 30,000km old and still goin strong but they are on the fronts so not lossing traction at all which saves a bit of rubber.
  21. Does this intercooler kit bolt straight into the standard fitting holes for the intercooler piping?? "INTERCOOLER KIT SPEC-M (TYPE24D) H280/L600/W76 (2 LAYER) - R33 (ECR33) - $750 PLUS FREE DELIVERY"
  22. check the weights on your rims, see if they are properly weighted. my car had a shudder at 100km/h aswell, i took it back got the front wheels rebalanced and he said they were out and one of the weights were missing off the front rim. also see if any of the rims have a slight buckle in them.
  23. agnes waters is boring, worked there for like a month. all there is too do is hit the pub, or surf in the summertime. u guys went out to the point at 1770 by the looks of that photo or did u go in past the cop shop and out to the water in agnes waters. anyway its too small and every1 knows what every1 else is doing.... but in summer the population triple's with the influx of tourism.
