id say there is no difference between stainless and mild steel, it just wont rust out, but since i have the system all the way from turbo to bumper in stainless, why not just get a cat to go with it. plus if i got one without a flange, i dunno if they can weld stainless to mild steel or not?? im not sure on that one.....

yeah i have seen ppl put a straight thru pipe into a cat and weld it on so it looks like a cats there. im just trying to think how different it will sound with a fullsystem. so far ive managed to get away with thefront pipe and dump pipe all in stainless for $200

well the car came with a kakimoto cat back stainless exhuast on it, and now i have just got a front pipe and dump pipe that are stainless also, so all i have to get now is a cat, so why not just make it stainless aswell. to finish off the exhuast

yeah im gonna keep the stocko one, but il just wanna geta hi flow one to replace the standard one anyway. i just wanna keep it all legal. i mean really im not at the point withthe car that the flow is gonna be affected that much with a hi flow cat there or bash out one. it doesnt really matter to me.

yeah, well id rather put one in that is still in good condition then pay up to $300+ for a ne wone, but im trying to keep my exhuast all stainless. from the turbo back. i probably wont have the cash till next fortnight not the wednesday coming the one after though. that is when i get payed. just decide on a price of its stainless and il let u know. i just wanna get away with it cheap as. i mean its a necessary evil the cat is.

does it have bolt on flanges on the ends of it or does it just have straight pipe to weld onto??? and is it stainless??

yeah ive been thinking of that but im making thw wqhole exhuast stainless, and im just gonna put it in, bcoz the standard one will probably shit its self or restrict flow with the rest of the exhuast being 3" and the cat being standard.

no worries. im having a quite one tonight aswell. there is a big cruise on up to here 2moro,for boostcruising. so il just go out for a sunday arvo cruise instead.

yeah when u get there, just ask the person at the desk, they will check your bags in then u can go to the gate which they tell you then wait for them to open it then hop on the plane, and at the other end u get off the plane then go to the baggage conveyer belt thingy and collect your bags when they come off.
