i polished up my alloy strut brace today. it was originally brushed alluminium. i flattened it out using 320 dry on a sander, then blocked it with 600 wet, then hand rubbed it with 1200 wet. i polished it by hand using meguiers metal polish and it came up like a mirror ill post a pic when i fit it up

Hi everybody! if you have done any detailing on your RB25 engine bay, could you please post up some pics? ive searched and found an abundance of RB26 engine bays but not many 25s. i need some ideas and inspirations! im also thinking about pulling out the windscreen washer bottle. anyone done this before? also whats the process with removing the device off the timing belt cover? what do you actually have to mark? cheers Sam

larger diameter, and stainless steel instead of rubber. a good mod if you plan to run high amounts of boost

great cruise, thanks to hotwire for organising!! was cool to catch up with people and meet some new ones too. the weather was nice, the roads were good and quite a few cars too. cheers edit. ill post some of my pics here too as they upload, sorry if i missed anyones car.

oops, looks the the rx-8 turbo was a concept only, i just figured it would have gone into production heres the link Andrew, its a similar story to the one i read in carsguide awhile back. http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_...rx8-extreme.htm sounds pretty impressive, i think they should give it the go ahead

mazdaspeed released a turbo rx-8, but only a limited few. i think it was rated at about 300kw! the bodykit that was fitted to it looked awesome too

ive had my car for a bit over 3 years, ive always had a 3.5 inch straight through exhaust (recently found it had no cat so i got one fitted), its also lowered with a full bodykit. i count ive been pulled over about 3 or 4 times since ive owned it and no defects as yet, just lucky i guess

for me i would love an FD or S15! an evo would be an awesome car too! but yeah, nice selection of cars you have to choose from there. good luck!
