hehehe, I cut the shifter shorter in my previous car. A hacksaw, 30mins of sweat and I finally cut through it. Bought an aftermarket shift-knob and it clamped right on. No Probs. If you wanna try it, do it, just don't whinge to us if the hacksaw runs away and you "bling bling" half your dashboard....

I have KYB dampener adjustbale shocks, and matched lowered springs... came with my car... fine for nice roads... and only mild on hard roads, wont make you piss blood... but still bloody hard.... but oh my god handles corners SO much better...beautiful!

Another point of view (from a simpleton): Something went wrong with an expensive engine, ie, big money has been spent on it. I myself, would never spend such an amount on a car and thus, the problems associated with in-depth tuning and the like wouldn't apply to myself and most of the people here. Most of us want new exhausts, cams, AFC's, dyno runs and the like. Simple stuff so to speak. Therefore most of the slandering that goes on I take no notice of. Don't know if I'm making much sense but that's how I see it.

I think you said it the best with that one word. Outclassed. Based of the poverty-pack lancer. Look at the interior of the EVO's. Plastic, Tacky, and built exactly like the GLI lancer. Sure it looks nice from the outside but any god bodykit can do the same. And just look at all the EVO-wannabe's in the base-model lancers. Bleh!
